By creating your account you are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia. Before you jump in, here are some ground rules:

  • Be nice to everyone. It's in the code of conduct.
  • Make good edits. Preview them before you save to make sure they're perfect the first time around.
  • Use wikicode and link templates when adding content to a page.
  • Use proper grammar and spelling, and read the manual of style.
  • You can't create a userpage until you've added to the encyclopedia. It's a privilege. See the userspace policy.
  • Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes. Don't "edit war," or constantly re-edit/undo the same thing on a page.
  • If you have a question about something, be proactive. Take a look at our FAQ. If you're still stuck, ask for help. The staff won't bite.
  • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.
  • For more handy links, see the welcome portal.
Thank you, and have a good time editing here!

Hebrew names

Hey, I noticed you've added a number of Hebrew names for Pokémon to Pokémon pages. What's the source for these? Bulbapedia is only interested in noting official names. --SnorlaxMonster 09:43, 4 March 2018 (UTC)

Please reply. We are going to redo all your edits otherwise since they are unsourced which is something we do not tolerate here. --Raltseye prata med mej 14:27, 8 March 2018 (UTC)
Since you clearly haven't read these messages I have reverted your edits. --Raltseye prata med mej 23:13, 8 March 2018 (UTC)

Answer

PokeShay: I didn't know how to answer you but I readed the messages. I don't know why it's a problem, there is Russian, Hindi, Araboc and more. but because it's Hebrew it's not ok? And I didn't know how to answer you, so you thought I didn't read the message and because that you removed all my edits! Why there is not normal ways to answer you?! - unsigned comment from PokeShay (talkcontribs)

The other languages have official sources, you gave none. I asked you about it, you didn't answer. Therefore I reverted your edits.
Regarding the messages, you read our messages yet you decided to add more without any source? That is against our rules. Secondly we can and are speaking here. What's the problem? --Raltseye prata med mej 18:42, 12 March 2018 (UTC)

PokeShay: So can I add Hebrew names where the are more languages? like Arabic, Russian, Hindi and so forth? - unsigned comment from PokeShay (talkcontribs)

Just because other languages have the Pokemon names shown, doesn't mean you can just add other languages in. If you have a source for your edits, please provide it. If you continue to add in names without any source, a harsher penalty will be dealt.--ForceFire 08:38, 26 March 2018 (UTC)
So if I want to add names I need to ask you? - unsigned comment from PokeShay (talkcontribs)
Provide a source. Tell us where you got the names from.--ForceFire 09:34, 26 March 2018 (UTC)
Can I add Ash Ketchum Hebrew name? - unsigned comment from PokeShay (talkcontribs)
Please answer the question, do not ignore what the staff is telling you. If you continue to ignore the question, you will receive a block.--ForceFire 14:30, 26 March 2018 (UTC)
Ah, I've got from an Israeli website of Pokemon. - unsigned comment from PokeShay (talkcontribs)
Is this an official website, or just a fansite? Can you provide a link? --SnorlaxMonster 10:08, 29 March 2018 (UTC)

Question for Edit

Hi, can I add for Pokemon RED/BLUE hebrew name? I know the names because I know how that in hebrew red and blue. - unsigned comment from PokeShay (talkcontribs)

Pokémon Red and Blue were never released in Hebrew, so it is unlikely there is any official Hebrew name, so please do not add it. If you can prove otherwise, please do so. --SnorlaxMonster 10:08, 29 March 2018 (UTC)
Can I please add Hebrew name for Charizard - unsigned comment from PokeShay (talkcontribs)
Where did you get the Hebrew name from? Unless it's an official source, do not add it. --SnorlaxMonster 23:52, 29 March 2018 (UTC)

Ok so I see there is no point to ask again and again. - unsigned comment from PokeShay (talkcontribs)

Rather than pointlessly asking again and again, you could answer the question SnorlaMonster asked: where did you get the names? is this website you sourced official? And since you have a tendency to avoid answering questions, this is your final warning.--ForceFire 04:32, 3 April 2018 (UTC)

Blocked

Since you have clearly not learned, you are blocked for two weeks. Names must be sourced, preferably from an official site. You have yet to clarify whether the names you get are from official sites or just fan translations. If you return and continue to unsource your edits, you will face a longer block.--ForceFire 13:00, 24 May 2018 (UTC)

But what that I translated (Lillie name to Hebrew) is from the anime Hebrew dub ): - unsigned comment from PokeShay (talkcontribs)

In that case, which episode was it and where does it air? --Raltseye prata med mej 15:20, 24 May 2018 (UTC)
