The Preview Button

Instead of editing a page several times in a row, try using the preview button to make sure your edit looks the way you want it to. It's right next to the Save Page button. Please try it out, so as not to clog up the Recent Changes. Also, if you want to edit multiple sections of the page, make sure that you click "edit this page" at the top of the page rather than editing it by section. Thanks! --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 19:24, 14 July 2021 (UTC)

Amazon CCs

Good job on looking through some old episodes in Amazon Prime Video and finding out some of the dub names. I would like to ask, do Amazon Prime Videos always list the speaking character's name, or do they do it only occasionally? --Maxim (talk) 08:02, 6 August 2021 (UTC)

Only occasionally, usually when the speaking character is off screen. And it's not always the most informative; for example, Denjirō is just called "grandpa", Tenma and Daizō are just "dad", and Tōkichi is just "man". Keiko wasn't called anything at all despite speaking off screen. Still, it's far better than nothing. PaperSplash (talk) 12:32, 6 August 2021 (UTC)
Thanks for the info. So, I assume you probably have already checked most of the unnamed characters, right. Could you also check EP042? There are three boys there with Japanese names Kinta, Kanta and Konta. I have my sources (insider thing) that seems to suggest that their English names are Billy, Barry and Bobby, but the source doesn't identify which one is which. Could you check if these names are used in the CCs for that episode? Also, you might check if the rumored name Darla is used for the Melvin's assistant in Vulpix suit in EP043? When you have time, of course. --Maxim (talk) 13:44, 6 August 2021 (UTC)
Unfortunately, while my Pokémon on Amazon subscription includes most seasons up to and including S17, it does not, for whatever reason, include S01; all of those episodes have to be purchased separately. (My guess is because Netflix already has streaming rights for that season. I have Netflix, but they don't use the same closed captioning style Prime Video does.) Sorry to disappoint. --PaperSplash (talk) 17:28, 7 August 2021 (UTC)
Ah, okay. One more episode that might be worth checking is EP136. The same source I mentioned above seems to suggest that the Schoolboy's name is Mickey. Since some of the names that you found in those CCs (such as Druid and Acolyte) appear in my source as well, I think this might be worth trying. --Maxim (talk) 22:12, 7 August 2021 (UTC)
I checked. The Schoolboy is not given a proper name or even a generic one. Which makes sense, as I didn't catch him speaking off screen. So your source may still be correct; I just don't have any way to prove it. --PaperSplash (talk) 01:26, 8 August 2021 (UTC)
Uh, I believed his mother was calling him home from off-screen (but I'm relying on memory, so I may be wrong), so I was hoping she would be identified as "Mickey's Mom" or something like that, but well... Thanks for checking anyway. --Maxim (talk) 14:35, 8 August 2021 (UTC)
No, that did happen. But even though she spoke off-screen, her dialogue wasn't labeled at all (similar to Keiko). --PaperSplash (talk) 00:32, 9 August 2021 (UTC)
