Instead of editing a page several times in a row, try using the preview button to make sure your edit looks the way you want it to. It's right next to the Save Page button. Please try it out, so as not to clog up the Recent Changes. Colosseum e Cards

Hi! I saw you're edting info on Red Pack (Battle e), and I was just wondering, where are you getting this information from, or how?

I ask in part because the source I originally had disagrees (though in some ways your edits do seem to make better sense, and I can't honestly be sure that page is 100% reliable), and in part just out of curiosity.

XD Trainer info source?

I've seen you editing some Pokémon XD info today. I wonder: where are you getting your info? Is it from in-game, or somewhere else? Just wanting to know your source, that's all. Plus, if you edit a Trainer's party template on a location page, make sure to edit the same template on the Trainer's own page too to match the edits on the location page, please. Well, I've done an in-depth walkthrough of this game using the Dolphin Emulator. And using the AR Cheat Codes to get the Pokemon that helped me get all of this info: Ditto and its ability to transform into any opponent. Using Ditto, I was able to get not only all of the moves that the opponent knows but also the order in which those moves appeared as well. For the abilities, I used Porygon2 and its Trace ability via the same cheat codes I used to get Ditto. - unsigned comment from Nmurthy (talk • contribs)

Pokemon Battle Revolution

Hi. There's a couple of concerns with the pages you're adding for PBR's Lvl. 50 All Single Mode.

On the one hand, for battle modes in the core games like Battle Subway and the Battle Maison, we don't list opponent Pokemon, in part because there can be very, very many. And on the other hand, the divisions of pages you're using are somewhat excessive. Four pages for one rank is problematic.

At any rate, though, in short, I'd like to ask you to put a hold on this PBR information for a bit until I (or someone else) can get back to you on whether it's okay or how you should be adding the info you want to add. Thanks. =) Tiddlywinks (talk) 02:02, 3 February 2016 (UTC)

The reason I find it justified to add the list of Lv. 50 Single (as well as other sections in PBR) Pokemon in PBR is that unlike the Battle Frontier, Battle Subway, Battle Maison and the like, the list is smaller due to the fact that there are only a max of 3 duplicate Pokemon (i.e. Venusaur, Vaporeon, Wormadam). The only other Pokemon that are duplicated are duplicated twice. In the other battle modes, the number of duplicate Pokemon can go up to 4, 6, 8, or even 10. - unsigned comment from Nmurthy (talk • contribs)

Sorry, it's taking a bit of time, I still can't really say what you should do about List of Lv.50 All Single Pokémon in Pokémon Battle Revolution.

If you need something to do for the meanwhile, though, several of the other Colosseums could really use some attention, like Sunset Colosseum, Sunny Park Colosseum, Magma Colosseum, and Courtyard Colosseum. Okay, as for the Lv. 50 All list, for now, would you mind just putting together a sample page in your userspace? Make a single page for all the Rank 1 Pokemon, with each generation having its own section on that page, and put the Pokemon in tables with 4 Pokemon per row. In short, it should look a lot like List of Inver's Pokémon in Pokémon X & Y.

I was really hoping I had been clear enough, but apparently I wasn't. Please do not make any more Rank pages for your Lv 50 All list for the time being. (Also, I did ask you to make the sample page in your userspace. Please try to pay attention better in the future.) We still have not approved your work yet. If you're that eager to do something, as I suggested above, there are other PBR pages that still need work.

One big issue that remains, in particular, is what exactly you're adding information for. I've searched this whole wiki, and "Lv. 50 All Single" does not seem to appear anywhere whatsoever. Could you please clarify for me, in as much detail as you can, what exactly this mode is that you're adding this info for and/or how it is accessed in PBR?

The information I'm trying to add is as much detail on what opponent Pokemon is encountered in Lv.50 All Single (and Double potentially in the future if you or someone else approves my work) including moves, possible items, ranks, and abilities. The main way to access the info in PBR is via the Sunset Colosseum since it is similar to the Battle Factory in that you can't use your own Pokemon; instead, 12 different rental Pokemon are available to select from and their information can be accessed before starting a battle. In addition, the Neon Colosseum is another way because both parties' Pokemon are selected by a roulette wheel. I've looked around a bit, and I think this is what you're trying to say. Please tell me if I'm wrong.

At any colosseum (or maybe most), you can choose a challenge where the opponents are Lv 50 (Level Rule: Lv 50 All) instead of the default Lv 30. If you choose that challenge, your opponents all come from the same pool, regardless of which colosseum you're in. Is that correct?

Further, at Sunset Colosseum and Neon Colosseum, your (the player's) Pokemon can also be selected from that pool of Pokemon if you're challenging at Lv 50 All. Tiddlywinks (talk) 15:53, 5 February 2016 (UTC)

I'd like to ask a couple more questions. For one, you mentioned Doubles data above, so, just to check, that means the Double and Single formats do have different opponent pools? (Also, is this all just your own empirical research from playing the game a lot, or what?)

Second, I'm very confused about why, on the Rank 2 page, you have a bunch of "Item is rank-dependent" notes. If the page is for Rank 2, then either none of those items should have any variability, or else I'm very much not understanding something. Could you clarify the situation? The Single and Double battle formats have the same Pokemon but can have different movesets and items and potentially abilities. I have played the game for hundreds of hours and so I'm sure this is true and I have even kept the information in my personal records.

The reason I put the "Item is rank-dependent" is because each and every individual Pokemon in Lv. 50 All have their own unique rank and some of them have items that are fixed depending on the rank you are in when you see them. To illustrate, a Pokemon with a specific rank can be seen in the range from 2 ranks below its own rank (if the Pokemon is in Ranks 3 through 8) to 1 rank above its own rank (if the Pokemon belongs to a rank of at most 7). Most Pokemon that are in Ranks 2 through 5 in Lv. 50 All have an item that is dependent on which rank you see them. For example, let's take an actual Pokemon I've seen from my research: a Spiritomb that belongs to Rank 4. This particular Pokemon can be seen in Ranks 2 (only belonging to a Colosseum Leader), 3, 4, or 5. The Pokemon's item can change depending on the rank you see it. If you see Spiritomb in Rank 2 belonging to a Colosseum Leader, it will be holding a Leftovers. If it's seen in Ranks 3 or 4, it will be holding a Lum Berry. If it's seen in Rank 5, then it will be holding a Chesto Berry. - unsigned comment from Nmurthy (talk • contribs)

How have you determined the "correct" Ranks for these Pokemon, then? Like, how are you sure that Spiritomb "belongs" to Rank 4 specifically?

As mentioned in my example before, the Spiritomb I mentioned in my example could only be seen in Rank 2 if you're battling a Colosseum Leader. For the other 3 ranks, in this case Ranks 3, 4, and 5, it can be seen even if you are not battling the Colosseum Leader. To illustrate my point, a Pokemon belonging to Rank x can normally be seen if you're battling in Ranks (x - 1), x, or (x + 1). The only time you could potentially see that Pokemon in Rank (x - 2) is if you're battling a Colosseum Leader. There are normal trainers in Pokemon Battle Revolution that specialize in only 1 type. For example, there is a trainer that uses only Ghost-type Pokemon if possible. I got Spiritomb to be in Rank 4 because I was battling that Ghost-type-specializing trainer in Rank 2 hundreds of times with trials and errors but never actually saw Spiritomb. However, when I battled in Rank 3 in one of my trials I got Spiritomb.Nmurthy (talk) 22:55, 7 February 2016 (UTC)

I'm perhaps getting more confused. Is it not possible that any Trainer can have any of these Pokemon? Conversely, is it possible for any of these Pokemon to appear on more than one Trainer's team?

Besides that, what I'm hearing is, you're really just guessing it's Rank 4. It could be Rank 3 (it doesn't matter if you think it'd make more sense to be Rank 4). It could be Ranks 3, 4, and 5, each; 2 as well after some fashion. All I really see is your assumptions there, and that's not good enough here. Tiddlywinks (talk) 23:12, 7 February 2016 (UTC)

I did not mention this much earlier but the reason my information is factual is that there is an extremely-detailed strategy guide book on Pokemon Battle Revolution that I've used as my main resource in collecting the information: http://www.amazon.com/Pokemon-Battle-Revolution-Official-Guides/dp/0761556397. That sounds good then. Would you be able to snap a picture of one of those pages? You could just upload it to imgur real quick, or wherever you can that works. And if there's some sort of intro that explains how they appear at +/-1 Rank, it might be nice to see that too.

Underscores in links

Earl's Academy

FYI, it might be best to just create a single "Earl's Academy" page with all relevant info for the academy there, including all the info on the Trainers there (not on subpages). FYI, something like User:Tiddlywinks/Pokédex-Amie is a userpage. In short, it's a subpage to your userpage; that's your userspace. To create Earl's Academy in your userspace, it should have been at "User:Nmurthy/Earl's Academy". But for now, for this page, it's not a big deal. Just try to remember it in the future.

First thing I'd suggest is, add the quizzes (and their correct answers) to the classes. After that, feel free to flesh out the Trainers/Pokemon. (Honestly, I don't know much about Earl's Academy. For trainers, I'd say priority goes to listing the trainers, the "lesson" it's supposed to correspond to, and the correct Party Pokémon. The templates can be constructed bit-by-bit on your user page at the address suggested by Tiddlywinks. The old Trainer's Guide I have has information on both sides' Pokémon, levels, items, and movesets, but does not mention their gender. - Chosen of Mana 22:04, 27 March 2016 (UTC)

Your recent trivia additions.

Hello, Nmurthy. This is just a fellow user who just wanted to make sure that you knew about Game move errors since you added a bit of trivia to a few pages on illegal movesets in the games. While I am not sure if it is actually against the rules on trivia, I will note that there is around 75 entries on that page, which would likely require a similar about of edits to any relevant pages. Considering this, I was wondering if you would potentially ask an admin if it would be ok to add these entires into the trivia section of the relevant articles out of a sense of precaution on their notability and not any official issue with them. --Super goku (talk) 00:07, 12 June 2016 (UTC)

I'd also like to point out your Shuckle trivia. You mentioned that it has the highest Defense & Sp. Def of all Bug & Rock types. Considering that it has the highest Defense & Sp. Colo/XD data

Hey Nmurthy,

I was noticing your edits in various moves for Colo/XD (e.g. Secret Power) and I was wondering a few things pertaining to Secret Power in particular. I also wanted to establish that as per my edit comment, I wanted to see if there were differences between Colo and XD for the effects of Secret Power before unhiding it (there are a good variety so it seems). That said, I wanted to know if the animation for Secret Power was the same regardless of location in XD (I only know this to be the case for Colo since that's the only one I have) and if it was the same animation as that of Colo (I want to say the animation is that of Needle Arm but I don't remember off the top of my head - if you know, that would be really helpful for the article). Hey, as a follow-up: thanks for clarifying whether the effects are for Colo or XD. However, I feel like it would be more practical to have the pages of those moves edited once after having explored the effects of the moves in more than simply one location (creating a document on NotePad or MS Word would help) instead of making an edit every single time an effect is discovered.
