You're using HTML though.

You used ">" and "<", which you can see if you edit the page are not the same as > and <. They generate the character, but it's like é vs é, a pain in the ass.

This is what you have

[[User:Alpha Totodile|<span style="color:#blue;">'''Alpha'''</span>]][[User talk:Alpha Totodile|<span style="color:green;">'''Totodile'''<span>]]<

This is what you SHOULD

AlphaTotodile

You copied the HTML directly or screwed something up somehow. And I wish I knew how you did. TTEchidna 23:32, 10 April 2009 (UTC)

Me, too... maybe it's because I'm using Safari? Anyway, thanks for helping me out. AlphaTotodile
OK, that Safari bit just sounded stupid. I most likely copied the HTML directly. AlphaTotodile 01:27, 11 April 2009 (UTC)

Please

Don't remove a large amount of information without giving any reasons to why you did it in the edit summary box. And don't you think you edited Ash Ketchum enough already? Why don't you go do something else? --ケンジガール 21:59, 11 April 2009 (UTC)

I'm trying to push it into featured article status. You were the one that said the trivia section is too long anyway. AlphaTotodile

Well alright. Proceed. --ケンジガール 22:09, 11 April 2009 (UTC)
And I'll remember to use the edit summary box. Thanks for understanding. AlphaTotodile

Signature Coding

Could you please consider changing the <span> in your user talk link to </span>. Leaving it as the former causes all text below it to become blue, whereas inserting the slash resets the text color for future comments. --Shiningpikablu252 23:23, 11 April 2009 (UTC)

OK. Thanks. Alpha Totodile 23:35, 11 April 2009 (UTC)

Userspace edits

When the Userspace policy says four edits per day, does that mean in UTC time? Or does that mean the time zone that I chose in my preferences? (Which in this case is CDT, or Central Time Zone in daylight saving time, -6 hours from UTC. Alpha Totodile 00:30, 12 April 2009 (UTC), 7:30 in CDT

It's UTC time, but the limit is now "reasonable and prudent", similar to old Montana speed limit laws. --Shiningpikablu252 00:38, 12 April 2009 (UTC)

TOTODILE

yo ok! my favorite pokemon is totodile, is it yours two? totoRulz 01:00, 13 April 2009 (UTC)

I like Feraligatr more, but Totodile is still one of my favorites. Since my Gold ran out of battery, I'm going to wait for GSDS rather than by another one on eBay. Alpha Totodile

ok? totoRulz 13:21, 14 April 2009 (UTC)

I just like totodile more, I played colleseum so I got one! totoRulz 17:10, 13 April 2009 (UTC)

When you respond, try to double space the comments, OK? Not doing so makes it look like you're adding to the previous comment. Alpha Totodile 20:36, 13 April 2009 (UTC)

What did I just tell you about doing that? Double space the comments, please. EDIT: I'm sorry, I meant double space between comments. I'm confusing, aren't I? Alpha Totodile 20:40, 14 April 2009 (UTC)

OK... sigh. If this keeps up, I will never get the Golden Eevee... Alpha Totodile 02:06, 14 April 2009 (UTC)

If that's the only reason you're here, then, well... not to sound rude, but that's not good. Same with getting attention. The Dark Fiddler - You enter a poorly lit room... 21:32, 14 April 2009 (UTC)
Oh, no, don't get me wrong, that's not just why I'm here. That's just my goal for now. When the month is over, I'll work on other things. No need to worry about that. I know perfectly well that it's bad if that's the only reason I'm here. Alpha Totodile 22:30, 14 April 2009 (UTC)
Good, I've seen some people go to tons of places for just those reasons. Glad that's not why you're here. The Dark Fiddler - You enter a poorly lit room... 01:58, 15 April 2009 (UTC)
Me, too. Glad you understand. Expect me to stick around for a long time. Besides, what n00b doesn't want the Golden Eevee? And I think it will be a while before I can earn the admins' respect Alpha Totodile 12:19, 15 April 2009 (UTC)

Signature

As stated in the official Signature policy, sprites or other pictures are not allowed in signatures. Please remove the image in your signature immediately. Thank you. --Theryguy512 22:48, 15 April 2009 (UTC)

What image? My sig looks like this- Alpha Totodile 01:48, 16 April 2009 (UTC)
On here, you signature included a picture of a Ditto... --Theryguy512 11:09, 16 April 2009 (UTC)
Actually, it's not part of his signature, for all I know. Instead of inputting "Ditto!", he creatively placed an image of a shiny Ditto. Kevzo8 11:12, 16 April 2009 (UTC)
Damn conflicts. Ryguy, don't be so quick to judge all the time. Ditto is a real word, after all. He even wrote it in full at the end of the Support section. And, @Alpha Totodile: no. The talk page is the one I want you all to look at. — THE TROM — 11:17, 16 April 2009 (UTC)
@Ryguy-You meant that? Oh. See what Kevz said above. @Trom-That's fine. Sorry if you feel I was trying to force you into doing something you didn't want to do. Alpha Totodile 11:34, 16 April 2009 (UTC)

Hmmm

Before you use my dinosaur tag, do you even know what it means? Do you know what its referencing? Do you know what Dinosaur thats supposed to be? In other news, good jobs on the contributions. though less user talk, more mainspaceUser:DCM 23:17, 16 April 2009 (UTC)

It's referring to Jurassic Park, isn't it? And if I don't know, then you should know that's one of my habits. Saying stuff without knowing what it means. And I'm trying to join more projects (Still waiting for Kenji-girl's permission to join Project Anime), so I'll be more into mainspace contribs. BTW, sorry it took so long to respond, I was trying to improve a Shipping article. Alpha Totodile 23:44, 16 April 2009 (UTC)
Yep. Its a Jurassic Park reference, specifically the book, which since your 12 you shouldnt read. its an allosaurus. If i remember correctly that is a direct quote from the book. I was just checking. As for joining projects, whats the point? Its not like you need tenure. just edit what you see a need to edit, and edit to your best ability. Being part of a project is nothing.User:DCM 00:01, 17 April 2009 (UTC)
You're an independant editor, huh... Well, if that works for you then that's fine. I just feel the need to join projects for some reason. And do I really need the leader's permission to join a project? Because I'm growing impatient waiting for KG to respond. And FYI, I can read what I want, except I don't read books very much. Alpha Totodile 00:08, 17 April 2009 (UTC)
Add your name to the list. youve asked Kenji, she has no reason to say no. Just check back later to double check. I Dont think your parents would let you read michael chriton novels, although Jurrasic Park is the most tame of his novels. I still dont think you should read it, it would go right oer your head. Why dont you read books? What is wrong with kids theses days!User:DCM
Well, yeah, they probably wouldn't, but they're too concerned about what video games I play XP. How old are you anyway? Alpha Totodile 00:24, 17 April 2009 (UTC)
Good. They shouldnt be letting you play Mature Games. Too large tracts of land for your liking. I'm 15. And your making me feel old with your born in 1997.User:DCM 00:27, 17 April 2009 (UTC)
Um. I was born in 1996. My birthday is June 26. And they'll most likely let me play M-rated games as soon as I hit 13. Alpha Totodile 00:32, 17 April 2009 (UTC)
spaghetti Spaghetto. Dude, my parents let me play M games when i was ten, look how i turned out. trust me, theres a reason theyre rated Mature.User:DCM 00:46, 17 April 2009 (UTC)
Still... Alpha Totodile 00:55, 17 April 2009 (UTC)

Shipping articles

I love your enthusiasm about attacking them. But here comes the "but". There are places for essay-looking types of articles. In the case of GymShipping, I would rather not have anything lost than something new gained, only because the article itself is huge (the content might be a little aged, but it's still a lot of effort well-put-in and remains viable). I don't want to say, "You should have come to me before tackling it," because it's not a matter of that (it's a wiki, and all I am is a Project leader, not an initiated admin), but it is a matter that I don't know your judgment capabilities, so I cannot trust you made a sound call in the extensiveness.

It's also the case of the History article, because DP should not be a factor until after the series has run its course; if anything should be written extensively, it should be AG, not DP. We're too close to the subject matter of DP to be writing anything definitive or conclusive. Luna Tiger * the Arc Toraph 18:29, 20 April 2009 (UTC)

Well, I just thought the GymShipping article needed cleaning up. The good Shipping pages (PokéShipping, PalletShipping, OrangeShipping, AdvanceShipping, ContestShipping, PearlShipping, IkariShipping, the list goes on...) have the format with the "This person's hints" and then "This person's hints", and in general, the whole article needed trimming up because some of it, as stated in the edit summary, was completely irrelevant to the article. Some of it was biased and downright wrong. I am a Shipper, but I really wish that we could put aside our convictions and write neutrally.
As for the history article, that is the current shipping debate, and I know for a fact that the Shippings listed there were added to the whole war after the characters appeared. We can just add more stuff there as things change. Alpha Totodile 20:57, 20 April 2009 (UTC)

Nominations

Interesting descriptions of your choices. Some might not appreciate it as much as others, but they'll at least appreciate the nominations. xD R.A. Hunter Blade 01:09, 8 May 2009 (UTC)

Userspace policy

Regarding this edit: Technically, there is no limit to the amount of userspace edits one can perform in a day. However, it is preferred to have more mainspace edits than anything else. That guy you found is still an offender - he's at 100%. Just so you know for next time... it's not four. — THE TROM — 04:47, 9 May 2009 (UTC)

Ah. The userspace policy didn't read "only four edits per day." I must've read some talk page where an admin said that they try to limit themselves to four edits per day when I still lurked here. --Alpha TotodileRWAR!! 12:17, 9 May 2009 (UTC)
Yeah, it did used to be four though, so that's why. Plus, four IS a fairly reasonable number. That's genereally where I draw the line. The Dark Fiddler - You enter a poorly lit room... 12:37, 9 May 2009 (UTC)
Instead of giving a specific number, aren't we supposed to just tell them to slow down and edit the mainspace some? R.A. Hunter Blade 17:55, 9 May 2009 (UTC)
Yes. --Alpha TotodileRWAR!! 18:13, 9 May 2009 (UTC)
