By creating your account you are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia. Before you jump in, here are some ground rules:

  • Be nice to everyone. It's in the code of conduct.
  • Make good edits. Preview them before you save to make sure they're perfect the first time around.
  • Use wikicode and link templates when adding content to a page.
  • Use proper grammar and spelling, and read the manual of style.
  • You can't create a userpage until you've added to the encyclopedia. It's a privilege. See the userspace policy.
  • Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes. Don't "edit war," or constantly re-edit/undo the same thing on a page.
  • If you have a question about something, be proactive. Ask for help. The staff won't bite.
  • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.
  • For more handy links, see the welcome portal.
Thank you, and have a good time editing here!

Pokémon Rumble Blast

Hey, I just wanted to commend you on your job on the town pages. But I just wanted to remind you that the currency for Blast should be Ⓟ, not $. :) Thanks again on the job well done. Jo the Marten ಠ_ಠ 02:25, 4 November 2011 (UTC)

Thanks, This is really my first time doing serious additions to bulbapedia, so I just hope nothing I did went against the manual of style. Any way, thank you! Metafruit 02:33, 4 November 2011 (UTC)

Linking

Hey, always be sure when you're linking to Pokémon pages that you use {{p|Pokémon}} and not [[Pokémon]]. {{p|Munna}} for example will link to Munna properly. Also {{m|}} will link to moves, {{a|}} will link to abilities, etc. For more information, here is a list of link templates. Jo the Marten ಠ_ಠ 06:08, 10 November 2011 (UTC)

Oh. Sorry. Thank you for fixing it! I'll make sure to refer to the link template next time. Metafruit 12:45, 10 November 2011 (UTC)

Making new pages

Hey there, like I warned Mr-ex777 yesterday, making pages like this is unacceptable. When you first make a page, it should have enough information on it that it would be considered useful. Making a page with barely a sentence, then some templates won't cut it. Take your time to make new pages so you can put as much information as you know onto it. We don't need to make a page for the sake of having a page if there's no information on it. Please learn from this message, and put more effort into your work next time. Jo the Marten ಠ_ಠ 13:18, 10 November 2011 (UTC)

Oh, ok... well I'm adding the pokémon for the "beach" area now. Where should I put information if I only have a part of it? For instance I can add some of the pokémon in some area's but not all of them. Metafruit 13:22, 10 November 2011 (UTC)
So you're still currently editing the page prior to its deletion? I'll let you recreate the page if you can write at least two area sections (of course more wouldn't hurt either). I'm not saying to create a page 100% the first time. I was just saying to put something other than an opening sentence or two. So two or more full sections will do. Don't worry about Post-game Pokémon or Japanese name. Jo the Marten ಠ_ಠ 13:34, 10 November 2011 (UTC)

Awesome, I will can make 2 complete, (minus post game) and then I will save it! I will try to play through another level and add more. Metafruit 13:37, 10 November 2011 (UTC)

The Preview Button

Instead of editing a page several times in a row, try using the preview button to make sure your edit looks the way you want it to. It's right next to the Save Changes button... Please try it out, so as not to clog up the Recent Changes. Thanks! --Jo the Marten ಠ_ಠ 06:07, 9 January 2012 (UTC)
