Apologies if I come across as harsh, but, even though the two gen III egg sprites appear to be identical, they are used in different games and therefore shouldn't be considered the same sprite. By putting "animated" and "static," you're potentially misleading readers into believing that the animated egg sprite was used in Ruby, Sapphire, FireRed, and LeafGreen even though it wasn't. Im sorry,But Gen III Animated sprites Are the same as the Static one but only its animated,It seems to be misleading but it seems Good to see what it is animated or not,If you´re playing emerald and Someone got a egg,It seems to be identical,Compare The Static (Used before emerald) and Animated (used in emerald) It is identical however the Animated Sprite has animation while the static one do not,They´re not different,just identical,You can see the Static one if you´re playing Games that were released before Emerald and you could see the animated one in Emerald.
