Hi. I've only recently joined Bulbapedia, but while I was editing the Other Languages section of some articles, I noticed that there isn't much consistency for naming or romanization. Maybe it's just me, but I think that the articles should at least have some sort of guideline for adding name origin and meaning (for the major languages, not just [[Bulbapedia:Manual of style/Romanization|Japanese]]). Also, since what I'm doing right now is mainly cleaning up the languages section, I think there should be a category or list on the Editor's Hub addressing articles that need language-related improvement (it's a pain searching through every single article just to find translations/origins to add), and if possible a project on languages as well. In fact the to-do list could be added to the Project Languages page. | |||
I'm an American-born Korean, and while I don't really like Korean (in fact I hate it, it's a really complicated and cluttered language), I still do feel a sense of pride whenever I contribute Korean to an English wiki (speaking of which, is this an American-English or European-English site?). | |||
