:To start, you seem to be a little confused here, so I want to clear this up: {{template|party}} has nothing to do with what Pokémon images can and can't be used, that's specified by the version of the Pokémon box that is used (example: {{template|Pokémon/1}}). With that said, the Stadium models a massive issue preventing their use in parties; they're all inconsistently sized. {{img|Stadium010|Caterpie's}} file is exceptionally tiny, while {{img|Stadium009|Blastoise's}} file is rather large. Blastoise's image is rather square, while {{img|Stadium130|Gyarados's}} file is much taller than it is wide. There may be ways to handle these size issues, but to accomplish that will take quite a bit of planning. Additionally, it will take the creation of a completely new Pokémon box for Stadium & Stadium 2 use. I seemed to think that there could be a way to make the template show the images in a proper size, but if that's not the case, and something new has to be done, take all the time you need.
