How-To: Getting the most use out of this user
  • "Appearance Coordinator" within the Editorial Board; issues with visual aspects of the site (such as navigation and page layout) are generally my realm of expertise, so let me know if you spot problems.
  • In charge of enforcing the Signature policy. Got questions? Fire away.
  • General administration stuff; deletion, page protection, vandal blocking, and if needed, conflict moderation.
  • Wiki-coding. I'm fairly experienced with wiki-code (my userpage, and this header, are both my design). Got questions? I'll do my best to provide answers.

Status
I'm not as active as many of my fellow staff members, so unless it's an issue within my specific realm of expertise, you're much more likely to get a quick response from a different administrator.

Lovely day, isn't it?

Shouldn't you list Archive 5, dear sir?--444Zekrom 13:57, 8 October 2010 (UTC)

Oh yes, umm... how come my "new" sig doesn't work (the colours don't)?

It's quite long in wikicode...--444Zekrom 11:09, 15 October 2010 (UTC)
Hex codes for colours need a hash in front of them. <span style="color:#DEAB79">, instead of <span style="color:DEAB79"> Werdnae (talk) 23:50, 15 October 2010 (UTC)
I'd advise against using so many links as well, more than likely you'll get errors when trying to edit your preferences with it (not to mention listing your favorite Pokémon and such is much better on your userpage; people want to click your signature and find out who you are, not get sent off to fifteen pages.)
But yeah, add in the # and you should be good with that coding. -- Jïörüjï Ðērākō.>.cнаt^ 04:24, 16 October 2010 (UTC)
Oh, it's one of my "special" signatures. Thanks anyway! (I've already improved the sig ;) )--444Zekrom 06:38, 16 October 2010 (UTC)

Gradient

Well, as I stated previously, there was a small talk about the possibility of using gradients for a better look in templates such as the Welcome one; I just wondered if anything was done about it, or if you could make it work or something. And another thing, are some of the templates supposed to have a shadow? (I would give an example but I forgot which one it was and I can't actually do that much on this computer, I've reloaded this page like 7 times before getting it), if so; there's a template you might want to check out; however, I'm not sure if you can change the depth of the shadow and the position.
