You said in the edit summary for Togepi's Tears and A Star for Tauros not to upload when there is no image over on the archives, however I did upload both yesterday at the articles creations. Checking today a:file:Togepis Tears.png is still on the archives from when I uploaded it but it is not appearing over here. A Star for Tauros on the other hand isn't appearing at all, and when I try to re-upload it it says 'File extension does not match MIME type.' and I don't know what that means as the image and how I'm trying to upload it as are both pngs.--Spriteit 08:14, 27 January 2011 (UTC)

:If you link to an image before it is uploaded, the server for some reason still thinks the image does not exist, even though it does. That's why I urge everyone to upload the image first, and then link to it to avoid this mess. Just leave it alone for now, and maybe it will fix itself. Not sure why you're getting that MIME type error either. That kind of error usually appears if you try to upload a different file type than what's supposed to be uploaded. —♥ Jellotalk 08:29, 27 January 2011 (UTC)

Yeah, that.
I expected that Marrsinc was a bot, but I checkusered it and it came up clean. The name pattern fits with the others, but I refrained from blocking because there was no solid evidence. If you don't mind me asking... how can you be sure it's a bot? Name alone is insufficient, IMO. Also, I don't know who told you not to protect the talk pages, but that's been standard policy for years. No one looks at the protection log anyway... I see no problem with "clogging it up." That's what it's there for. Oh, also. The top of this page currently says "This an encyclopedia." Might wanna fix that. --P o L i 17:10, 27 January 2011 (UTC)
