Welcome to Bulbapedia, Gruntman!

By creating your account you are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia. Before you jump in, here are some ground rules:

  • Be nice to everyone. It's in the code of conduct.
  • Make good edits. Preview them before you save to make sure they're perfect the first time around.
  • Use wikicode and link templates when adding content to a page.
  • Use proper grammar and spelling, and read the manual of style.
  • You can't create a userpage until you've added to the encyclopedia. It's a privilege. See the userspace policy.
  • Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes. Don't "edit war," or constantly re-edit/undo the same thing on a page.
  • If you have a question about something, be proactive. Take a look at our FAQ. If you're still stuck, ask for help. The staff won't bite.
  • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.
  • For more handy links, see the welcome portal.
Thank you, and have a good time editing here!

Templates

Familiarize yourself with the list of link templates that we have here at Bulbapedia, namely {{p}}, {{m}}, and {{a}}. That way you don't need to write [[Groudon (Pokémon)|Groudon]] and instead write {{p|Groudon}}. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask. ht14 20:19, 23 September 2012 (UTC)

Preview button

Please start using the preview button and combining your edits. This way, you don't edit the same article in a row over and over again. Please start using it in your future editing. Thanks, --Pokemaster97 20:47, 23 September 2012 (UTC)

Kindly use the preview button. PattyMan 01:13, 24 September 2012 (UTC)
You seriously need to use the preview button more. This is your final warning. Jo the Marten ಠ_ಠ 01:06, 25 September 2012 (UTC)
Because you have openly refused to acknowledge these warnings and continued to make multiple repeated edits to articles, you are now being forced to use the preview button before saving your edits from now on until you learn your lesson. Jo the Marten ಠ_ಠ 01:58, 25 September 2012 (UTC)

Edit warring

If someone reverts an edit you make do not restore the changes, such as you were doing to the Team Rocket Grunt (Trainer class)‎ article. You are to instead bring up the issue either on the article's talk page or the talk page of the reverting user. Restoring the changes begins an edit war and edit warring is a blockable offense. This is your one and only warning regarding this, continuing to edit war or starting additional edit wars will result in your account being blocked. - Kogoro - Talk to me - 02:16, 13 October 2012 (UTC)

Acuity Lakefront

Please preview more often. I was edit-conflicted twice while trying to correct your edit. Additionally, the Platinum picture is already there, below the infobox. --Abcboy (talk) 20:10, 19 January 2013 (UTC)

Reordering parties

It's perfectly fine to correct the order of parties, but if you do please ensure you reorder the code as well as change the numbers. --SnorlaxMonster 07:23, 14 February 2013 (UTC)

Final Warning

You are already in the forcepreview usergroup, yet you still continue to edit pages five or six times an a row to correct mistakes that could have been caught by the preview button. If this continues, you may be subject to a block from editing. This is your last warning about the preview button. Thank you. --Pokemaster97 17:39, 24 February 2013 (UTC)

Walkthroughs and the player's gender

Since you seem fairly frustrated about this, I'd like to note that none of the pages were assuming that the player is female. The code was set up such that the rival's gender changes depending on the second you load the page (you might have noticed something like this: {{#switch: {{#expr: {{#time: U}} mod 2}}|0=female|1=male}}). This code makes it so that half the time the rival will show up as male on the page, and half the time the rival will show up as female. You might be able to see what I'm talking about if you load an old revision of the page and refresh it. --Carmen (Talk | contribs) 22:52, 8 June 2017 (UTC)
