About edit reversion

If you don't know who the character I'm referring to is, don't reverse my edits right away. Discuss first. Jack is the combined Move Reminder, Move Deleter, and Name Rater you can find in every Pokémon Center in Sword and Shield. Real life events

Try not to go too deep with the real life connections. Just because there are some things in the Pokemon world that matches the real world, doesn't mean everything matches. It is still speculation. And saying the there might be other potential regions based off Europian countries is speculating way too hard and getting way ahead of yourself. We don't know if there will be other regions based off Europian countries, and it's best to not mention the possibility of there being such.--Force Fire 14:05, 1 June 2020 (UTC)

The Preview Button

Instead of editing a page several times in a row, try using the preview button to make sure your edit looks the way you want it to. It's right next to the Save Page button. Please try it out, so as not to clog up the Recent Changes. Also, if you want to edit multiple sections of the page, make sure that you click "edit this page" at the top of the page rather than editing it by section. Please keep the conversation in one place. It's difficult to read a conversation when every other comment is on a different page and it means the page history can be used to check the history of the discussion. This also allows third (or fourth) parties to join in if relevant. Please do not go to my talk page to respond to this conversation. Other wikis may do it that way but we do not.

I understand things are difficult right now with editing. However, splitting a large edit into multiple edits can actually exacerbate the server issues we've been having. I'd suggest finding ways to preserve your edits such as periodically using a tool such as notepad on your PC to save a copy of the changes you've made to the wikicode. Once you are satisfied with the changes you've made, then you can save the changes to the wiki proper. If an edit takes multiple days to work on, you can maybe save your progress once or twice a day, but even then I'd encourage you to wait until the edit is complete before saving changes.
