Welcome

Welcome to Bulbapedia, Flyingtypefan!

Here are a few links to help you get started:

The Manual of Style, or MoS, outlines the format of all pages on Bulbapedia.

All of our administrators are here to help! Talk to them if you have any questions or problems with Bulbapedia.

On talk pages, please sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~), or by using the "Your signature with a timestamp" (button_sig.png) button at the top of the edit window.

The Userspace Policy says that you should keep userspace edits (edits to User:Flyingtypefan) to a minimum, and outlines a few other guidelines for your userspace. Keep in mind, you will not be able to create your userpage until you have made constructive edits to the mainspace first.

For a complete list of policies and editing advice, please see the Welcome Portal.
Thank you, and have a good time editing here!

Dude...

If you forget to sign your comments, don't go back and sign them. The signature says when you put the signature, and this'll confuse people if they read that you said "Blah blah blah" at 6:10, and then I reply "Blah blah blah" at 5:20. If you notice that you forgot to sign before someone puts the unsigned template, you can do it yourself by typing {{unsigned|Flyingtypefan}}.--Pokélova! 06:16, 7 May 2010 (UTC)

I didn't know. I only joined recently. I'll try to sign my posts from now on. Flyingtypefan 06:23, 7 May 2010 (UTC)

It's okay, just a warning. I remember what it was like when I first joined. It might take a while to get the hang of things, but you'll get there!--Pokélova! 06:28, 7 May 2010 (UTC)

User freetime

As is stated in the usertag policy, new usertags must be created in the userspace, not the template space. As such I have moved it to User:Flyingtypefan/User freetime. Once five people are using it, you can check with an admin about getting it moved back. Until then it can be placed on a page by puting {{User:Flyingtypefan/User freetime}} on any page, or {{/User freetime}} on your page. Werdnae (talk) 01:53, 29 June 2010 (UTC) Do i leave it here: http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Category:Personal_information_tags Or not? Flyingtypefan 20:32, 29 June 2010 (UTC)

Not yet. If you can get five or more people using your tag, then ask an admin and they will decide if it will be moved back into that category. --ZestyCactus 20:36, 29 June 2010 (UTC)

So i shouldn't leave it in that category? Flyingtypefan 20:37, 29 June 2010 (UTC) There's a problem-I can't edit the actegory to get my tag out of it. How do i move it to my page? Flyingtypefan 20:44, 29 June 2010 (UTC)

Yeah, we'll take it out of the category for now. Also, you actually don't have to edit the category to add or remove items from it, you just edit the pages inside the categories (for your template, I just did that for you). --ZestyCactus 20:52, 29 June 2010 (UTC)

I thought you had to remove the link from the category page. Thanks for the help. Flyingtypefan 20:54, 29 June 2010 (UTC)

Haha I hope I was useful! ^^' let me know if you need any help with anything else! --ZestyCactus 20:56, 29 June 2010 (UTC)

One more question-how do i know if 5 users are using my tag? User:Flyingtypefan21:36, 1 July 2010 (UTC)

Special:WhatLinksHere/User:Flyingtypefan/User freetime Any Userpages that say (transclusion) are using the template. Werdnae (talk) 22:13, 1 July 2010 (UTC)

Okay. I had seen that "what links here" thing before, but didn't know how to do it. Thanks! User:Flyingtypefan 23:07, 1 July 2010 (UTC)

Project Sidegames

Just letting you know that, before declaring a project to be a subproject/related project of other projects, you'd generally have to run that by the leaders of said projects beforehand. (I'm the leader of both Games and Battrio, and I'm okay with it, but just for future reference.)

Also - I learned this when I started Project Battrio - being the founder of a project doesn't necessarily mean that you are the project leader. 梅子 01:21, 13 July 2010 (UTC) How DO you become the leader of your own (or any) project? Flyingtypefan 02:03, 13 July 2010 (UTC)

If you do end up working out Project Sidegames, let me know. I'll be interested to help out. ʝɑzzmotɦ ❝❞ 08:15, 25 July 2010 (UTC)

FTF, FTW.

Or more, FTL. Please make sure to accent the é in Pokémon. It's in the character map, and easily accessed on Windows (hold Alt, press 1-3-0 on the keypad, release) or Mac (hold Option and E, then press e). Also, make sure to make proper nouns correctly capitalized. Pokémon League vs Pokemon league. TTEchidna 04:57, 13 July 2010 (UTC) That accented E is hard to remember. As for the capitalization, i just get confused sometimes. I know now! Thanks. Flyingtypefan 05:02, 13 July 2010 (UTC)

Spoiler alert

Template:Spoiler DARTH VADER IS LUKE'S FATHER.

No, f'real? Spoilers on... Tyson? The spoiler is... Ash doesn't win? Ash becomes his friend? He has a Meowth? What? TTEchidna 07:48, 26 July 2010 (UTC) Yeah, the spoiler was that Ash doesn't win. At least it is if you haven't watched the Ever Grande conference arc. Since we had it on every single anime episode from EP001 on, i figured i should add it to his page.
