By creating your account you are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia. Before you jump in, here are some ground rules:

  • Be nice to everyone. It's in the code of conduct.
  • Make good edits. Preview them before you save to make sure they're perfect the first time around.
  • Use wikicode and link templates when adding content to a page.
  • Use proper grammar and spelling, and read the manual of style.
  • You can't create a userpage until you've added to the encyclopedia. It's a privilege. See the userspace policy.
  • Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes. Don't "edit war," or constantly re-edit/undo the same thing on a page.
  • If you have a question about something, be proactive. Take a look at our FAQ. If you're still stuck, ask for help. The staff won't bite.
  • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.
  • For more handy links, see the welcome portal.
Thank you, and have a good time editing here!

Signing talk page comments

Please remember to sign your talk page comments by typing four tildes (~~~~) or by selecting the four tildes in the character palette below the editing window. This provides your signature, which includes links to your user page and talk page as well as a timestamp so people can tell when you left the message. If you'd like, you can customize your signature by following the instructions in the Signature policy. Thanks! --Pumpkinking0192 (talk) 16:39, 24 January 2018 (UTC)

I noticed you have been signing, which is good, but remember that just the four tildes will suffice. Don't add anything after the four tildes; the result will just look tacky if you do. Berrenta (talk) 13:31, 10 March 2018 (UTC)

Purpose of talk pages

I've noticed you've sometimes been using talk pages to ask open-ended questions or discuss possibilities for the future that have not happened yet. If I may, please let me direct you to our talk page policy, which states: talk pages are for discussing how to improve an article. [...] Talk pages aren't water coolers or places for general discussion. For these kinds of messages, the forums are more suited for your needs. Thanks for your understanding! - unsigned comment from Pumpkinking0192 (talkcontribs)

Please keep this in mind. Your edit just now to Talk:SM061 was not constructive for the improvement of the article at all. Talk pages are not a place for you to talk/complain about how something made you feel. Use the forums for that, please. Pumpkinking0192 (talk) 23:48, 18 February 2018 (UTC)
For the third time, idle comments, such as "I kinda predicted it would be called ultra adventures", are not suitable for talk pages on Bulbapedia. Talk pages are for improving the wiki. Please try not to make this mistake again. If it continues, we may decide some action is warranted. (I would appreciate some response this time to ensure that you are not just ignoring your talk page.) Thank you. Tiddlywinks (talk) 02:35, 26 February 2018 (UTC)

Sorry about that i just dont respond to my talk pages usuaually/much. --Feelitstill23 (talk) 02:51, 26 February 2018 (UTC)Feelitstill23

Please remember that talk pages are for improving the wiki. A comment like "I have a feeling this wont air" for SM059 is just chatter around your personal opinion and serves no purpose on the wiki.

I encourage you to explore the Bulbagarden forums where you can find many people who will be very willing to talk about the anime or whatever you'd like. Unless there's an actual issue with a page on the wiki, please direct your casual conversation to the forums instead of the wiki. Tiddlywinks (talk) 15:38, 25 April 2018 (UTC)

Signature

Per our signature policy, your signature must reflect your username. In the post you made here, it does not. Please fix your signature settings to comply. Thanks. Tiddlywinks (talk) 23:59, 25 February 2018 (UTC)

Fansubs

Fansubs are never reliable as the subbers will, most likely than not, take liberties and add gender pronouns as they see fit. Never rely on fansubs for anything.--ForceFire 03:42, 4 February 2019 (UTC)

Talk page discussions

New discussions must be placed at the bottom of the talk page, not the top or wedged between discussions. You can add a new section by clicking the "+" tab between the "Edit this page" and "History" tab.--ForceFire 05:01, 17 March 2019 (UTC)

Inappropriate images

Please don't link to images that may be inappropriate. The image you linked wasn't pornographic, but is also unnecessary and had nothing to do with the article. This can be seen as vandalism and is a blockable offense. If you try to link to any other inappropriate image again, you will be blocked. Thank you.--ForceFire 05:35, 25 March 2019 (UTC)

Got it.--Feelitstill23 (talk) 09:48, 25 March 2019 (UTC)

Talk pages

As you have been warned before, talk page are for suggesting improvements to an article, not for having casual conversations. If you want to have a casual conversation, you can go to the forums. Considering that you have been warned about this before, and you seemingly not having learned from it, this is the only time you will be told about this.--ForceFire 05:07, 12 July 2019 (UTC)

Signature policy

Hey! You've been told this before, but you need to sign your talk page messages properly. You can do so by typing in four tildes (~) as instructed above. It will automatically code in your signature for you. Please follow this advice. Thank you. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 00:51, 17 July 2019 (UTC)

You're still not doing that. Once again, type in four tildes (~) and it will automatically code in your signature for you. If you have any questions, please ask them first before proceeding on a talk page message, but this should be a simple, straightforward process. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 02:14, 20 July 2019 (UTC)
Again you're still not following my instructions. This is standard policy and all new users need to follow it. If you keep up the inability to do so, I may have to alert an admin. If you're confused, please ask first. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 20:57, 20 July 2019 (UTC)
What were you trying to do? GrammarFreak01 (talk) 00:32, 21 July 2019 (UTC)
to the get signature right - unsigned comment from Feelitstill23 (talkcontribs)
You only need to type four tildes, no more, no less. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 01:09, 21 July 2019 (UTC)
Do not sign old messages that you failed to sign. Sign all future messages. Also, type in four tildes. Judging by what you were doing, you typed five instead. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 05:07, 21 July 2019 (UTC)
do i put my username first then the tidles afterwards? - unsigned comment from Feelitstill23 (talkcontribs)
No. Use the tildes only. There's no need to put in your username at all. The tildes will do it for you. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 05:12, 21 July 2019 (UTC)

(resetting indent)i hope my signature isn’t glitching Feelitstill23 (talk) 05:33, 21 July 2019 (UTC)

Not anymore. Good job. :) GrammarFreak01 (talk) 14:22, 21 July 2019 (UTC)

Blocked

As you have ignored my warnings over this, you have been blocked for a week. Talk pages are not a hub for you to have casual conversations, they are for suggesting ideas and improvements for a specific article. If you are only here to have casual small talk, then you can go to the forums.--ForceFire 14:57, 21 July 2019 (UTC)

Linking episode articles

Please do not use the actual episode titles when linking to episode articles. You're simply using a redirect link, which is not recommended. Please use the episode code instead. Thank you. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 00:33, 16 September 2019 (UTC)

Trivia

Hey! Please do not post pieces of trivia that are still subjective because they could be debunked by the end of the series. You need to be careful about those tidbits. "Trivia" sections are for facts that are concrete and cannot be disproved even by the end of the series. Thank you. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 21:44, 21 September 2019 (UTC)

Userspace limits

Hello. I have noticed that you have been editing the User: namespace a lot recently, and have made a total of 4+ userspace edits today. Please do not edit the userspace any more, as the userspace policy limits the amount you can edit your userpage: No more than three edits per day (by UTC), and you must contribute to the mainspace more than you edit your user page(s). This policy was instated to promote people helping out in the mainspace, and also to control strain on our servers. Bulbapedia is an encyclopedia, after all, so help us out by contributing to some articles before coming back to your personal page(s). The more often you edit in the mainspace, the more you will be allowed to edit your user page(s). Thank you. -- G50 01:57, 25 October 2020 (UTC)

Userspace editing

Once again, it appears that you have gone over the userspace limit by making a total of 2 userspace edits today. Please keep in mind that the userspace editing limit is no more than three edits per day (by UTC), with the requirement of making at least one more constructive mainspace edit than userspace edits you make. Continued violations of the userspace policy may result in your userspace privileges being revoked. Thank you. --Tiddlywinks (talk) 23:57, 20 November 2020 (UTC)

The Preview Button

Instead of editing a page several times in a row, try using the preview button to make sure your edit looks the way you want it to. It's right next to the Save Page button. Please try it out, so as not to clog up the Recent Changes. Also, if you want to edit multiple sections of the page, make sure that you click "edit this page" at the top of the page rather than editing it by section. Thanks! --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 13:11, 19 October 2021 (UTC)

Talk pages

Please do not start multiple discussions on the same subject on different talk pages. This clogs up the Recent Changes and makes it more difficult to follow the conversation. For simplicity, please keep a particular discussion in one place. Landfish7 02:27, 9 May 2022 (UTC)
