By creating your account you are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia. Before you jump in, here are some ground rules:

  • Be nice to everyone. It's in the code of conduct.
  • Make good edits. Preview them before you save to make sure they're perfect the first time around.
  • Use wikicode and link templates when adding content to a page.
  • Use proper grammar and spelling, and read the manual of style.
  • You can't create a userpage until you've added to the encyclopedia. It's a privilege. See the userspace policy.
  • Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes. Don't "edit war," or constantly re-edit/undo the same thing on a page.
  • If you have a question about something, be proactive. Take a look at our FAQ. If you're still stuck, ask for help. The staff won't bite.
  • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.
  • For more handy links, see the welcome portal.
Thank you, and have a good time editing here!

Hi, this is what I'm here for...

I'm new and am looking to help. I'm starting to get stuck into Bulbapedia:Project Walkthroughs but can't do anything until I get my hands on Pokémon Rumble Blast, the game I've agreed to work on and is untouched... If you have jobs for me or anything you want doing and can't be bothered to, post it here and I'll do it as soon as possible when not sorting something else out. If you want help, well I will try... Resigning

If you have posted a comment but did not sign it, do not go back and resign it, as the timestamp will be wrong. Instead, please add the {{unsigned}} template instead. Thanks.--Chalkwriter 15:28, 28 December 2011 (UTC)

Sorry, try that next time (better still, I'll actually sign stuff!). Out of interest, If you comment and forget to sign but notice it right away (like less than a minute) is it worth signing it then when there is practically no difference to the timestamp (I can see 2+ hours is a bit off but is two minutes?). Thanks and sorry.--Epsilonexus 18:11, 28 December 2011 (UTC)
I would say no. After reading your post, I re-read the Signature Policy a few times to see if I could work out what it meant. I would assume that you should add the unsigned template anyway, because the policy states that you shouldn't resign after you post a comment without a signature.
Don't worry too much about this issue though. I've made worse mistakes on previous wikis.--Chalkwriter 18:33, 28 December 2011 (UTC)
I had an issue of the likes when telling someone to use {{unsigned}}, Nate told me that if the difference is of less than a minute (maybe until 90 seconds or so), they may just sign normally, so if you make a mistake but immediately sign afterwards, you'll have no problem.
