By creating your account you are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia. Before you jump in, here are some ground rules:

  • Be nice to everyone. It's in the code of conduct.
  • Make good edits. Preview them before you save to make sure they're perfect the first time around.
  • Use wikicode and link templates when adding content to a page.
  • Use proper grammar and spelling, and read the manual of style.
  • You can't create a userpage until you've added to the encyclopedia. It's a privilege. See the userspace policy.
  • Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes. Don't "edit war," or constantly re-edit/undo the same thing on a page.
  • If you have a question about something, be proactive. Take a look at our FAQ. If you're still stuck, ask for help. The staff won't bite.
  • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.
  • For more handy links, see the welcome portal.
Thank you, and have a good time editing here!

Userspace policy

Hey! You're not supposed to create sandbox articles as soon as you join the site, especially sandboxes for your talk page. That counts as a userspace edit, and you're supposed to start off with some mainspace edits (i.e. edits on articles about Pokémon, human characters, battle mechanics, etc.) when you join. Just wanted to let you know if you notice the deletion tag on your sandbox article. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 05:31, 8 October 2019 (UTC)

Yeah, I'm not real good with Wiki. I have edits to make to Poké_Problem but I was using the sandbox to work on those edits. I didn't realize it would be an issue.--DevilsAdvocado (talk) 05:37, 8 October 2019 (UTC)
It's not terribly hard. All you have to do is edit the article and allow the other users to fix your edits if it's necessary. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 05:39, 8 October 2019 (UTC)
If you say so. I'll plop down what I've got and I'll just work on it in there? I just thought working on the page directly might be disruptive.--DevilsAdvocado (talk) 05:41, 8 October 2019 (UTC)
I can't see how, unless what you'll do messes up certain infobox codes. Then again, I don't frequent the article you're hoping to fix. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 05:43, 8 October 2019 (UTC)

Talk page policy

Hey! Word of advice, whenever you post on a talk page, any talk page, don't edit the talk page itself in order to post a message. All messages and discussions are required to be presented in chronological order. To do this, click on the + icon at the top of the talk page and fill out all the blanks. Thank you!
