::Just to make sure we understand each other, imagine the following scenario: you have a Galarian Stunfisk with Mimicry on the field (with the types Ground and Steel) and no terrain is active; then some Pokémon activates a terrain, lets say it's Misty Terrain, but any other would do; because of this, Stunfisk now changes into Fairy type; after this some Pokémon uses Soak at Stunfisk and it changes into the Water type, and Misty Terrain is still active. In this scenario, would Stunfisk remain Water type, or would it change back into Fairy? Would you be able to test this to confirm which is the case?
