+For the opportunity to let a BP old timer swing her ol' banhammer 'round again.  You know, when I was your age, even the knee-jerk spammers used to follow the ol' three strike rule before they went trying to mess things up.  Now, granted, we didn't quite nickpick our newbies to the point that we'd roll back an entire edit after one little ol' bit o' bad phrasing.  As y'can see by that note above left by the Optimus fella who did the revert, it didn't have a thing to do with that ol' Evangelion anime.  No, sir, it was just a quick way to remove your little side remark where you tried to claim the origin of the ship name as evidence.  Seems like a perfectly reasonable misunderstanding, but y'didn't have to go flinging spam all over this nice ol' wiki, after some of us here put a lot of sweat and tears into putting so much of it together.  You just had to go over to the talk page of that Optimus fella and leave a polite remark (or even one of those newfangled flames with all those fancy signatures with them animated gif doohickeys at the end - you know, when I was your age, we didn't have all these fancy templates, we coded our infoboxes uphill both ways in the snow) and find out what was going on before you did something rash.  Now I want you to take a week to think about everything I've said, you hear?  And stay off my lawn!  --[[User:Pie|Pie]] <sup>~[[User talk:Pie|♪]][[Special:Contributions/Pie|♫]]</sup> 08:24, 27 May 2008 (UTC)
