By creating your account you are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia. Before you jump in, here are some ground rules:

  • Be nice to everyone. It's in the code of conduct.
  • Make good edits. Preview them before you save to make sure they're perfect the first time around.
  • Use wikicode and link templates when adding content to a page.
  • Use proper grammar and spelling, and read the manual of style.
  • You can't create a userpage until you've added to the encyclopedia. It's a privilege. See the userspace policy.
  • Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes. Don't "edit war," or constantly re-edit/undo the same thing on a page.
  • If you have a question about something, be proactive. Take a look at our FAQ. If you're still stuck, ask for help. The staff won't bite.
  • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.
  • For more handy links, see the welcome portal.
Thank you, and have a good time editing here!

English voice actors

For the Pokémon boxes on character's pages, please do not ad "vaen=" when you don't have anything to put there. It's unnecessary and makes it look bad. It is to only be use when the English voice actor is known. Thank you. --ケンジガール 03:47, 15 July 2011 (UTC)

I understand now. Thank you! But however some of these pages already had this even before I started editing them. I should know because that is how it was written before I started editing those pages. I also told you already, I am a beginner at editing and I didn't mean to forget to sign my comment okay? I still am don't think we should leave some of these "vanen=" blank. Eventually someone should already figure out who voices those Pokemon and it shouldn't take forever to figure that out. Playing by ear

Please don't play by ear to figure out who voiced who. Saying "X sounds like a character from another series so it has to be Y" counts as playing by ear. The reason why playing by ear is not allowed is because it is highly unreliable, there could be a VA that can imitate a specific voice. Also, do not play by credits as they do not say who voiced who, just that they had a role in the episode. Currently, the only way to get VA info is to ask them on social media.--ForceFire 05:04, 19 April 2015 (UTC)
