Don't use single-character sort keys. - 振霖T 01:37, 2 June 2007 (UTC)

Just a thought DD, do you want credit for the images you sent me when I upload them? nuva-kal 13:08, 27 June 2007 (BST)

Shining Darkness

Thanks for backing me up. I don't know why it is so hard for people to see the connection between the English and Japanese sets, and why I got such a bad reaction from Pikablu. He hasn't replied, so I seem to have put him in his place. Thanks again! nuva-kal 18:30, 29 October 2007 (UTC)

DP4

I think your new method may be the way to go, I certainly didn't anticipate that the English release would be split again, which is why I created the DP4 page the way I did. So I guess the situation will be similar to the e-card series, since DP5 in Japan has two sub-sets again and we will have six sets when this block finishes. So the plan is to have the sets like this as separate pages:

  • Moonlit Pursuit/Dawn Dash in Japanese exclusive
  • Great Encounters in DP era releases
  • Temple of Anger/Cry of the Mysterious in Japanese exclusive
  • English DP5 in DP era releases
  • English DP6 in DP era releases

With Temple of Anger/Cry of the Mysterious in the same format as your proposed Moonlit Pursuit/Dawn Dash, right? nuva-kal 14:21, 4 February 2008 (UTC)

About a recent large edit on one of your pages...

That was me bringing in the full list I had put in the sandbox. This way, nobody has to fumble with that list when it comes time to put the plan into action. I hope you understand. --Shiningpikablu252 18:31, 9 February 2008 (UTC)

Yup, that's absolutely no problem. :) Both the Moonlit Pursuit/Dawn Dash and new Great Encounters pages will be ready at some point tomorrow - if not, Monday. Double Dash 21:44, 9 February 2008 (UTC)

Intense Fight in the Destroyed Sky

I fear a move war may break out over the title's translation. At least one person thinks the title should be "Fierce Fighting in Broken Space", but Shiny Noctowl reverted it without hesitation, citing Pokébeach (where the original "Moon Hunting" and "Night Dashing" came about). Since you're the expert in sets not yet released in America but will be, can you settle things down before a move war breaks out? Thanks. --Shiningpikablu252 00:07, 9 July 2008 (UTC)

Oh, hell. IFDS is definitely the most accurate translation; anything else is just fancied-up. Is there any way to protect the page from being moved (at least until we know the English name)? Cipher 07:50, 9 July 2008 (UTC)

Template:TCG Expansions

Sunain's actions left me no choice. Any further TCG developments for that infobox will have to go through me or TTEchidna, as will further information for Intense Fight in the Destroyed Sky. I hate to have to inconvenience you like this, but these things happen sometimes. --Shiningpikablu252 21:12, 9 July 2008 (UTC)

Thanks

Thank you for fixing Houndour, I went ahead and fixed the Houndour in Unseen Forces as well. MoldyOrange 14:58, 17 July 2008 (UTC)

Signature

You know, I think all you do here is great. You're our resident Japanese/English TCG expert, and we'd have some problems without that kind of knowledge. However, despite that, I'm obligated to tell you that, per the signature policy, signing as "Cipher" is inappropriate. Your sig must reflect your usename, so please change it to reflect that. Signing as "DD" would be appropriate... :D --ニョロトノ666 20:22, 4 August 2008 (UTC)

Okay, thanks very much for letting me know. I read in the editor messages that name changes weren't allowed, I guess this is still the case? (Thanks for the compliment too, I really appreciate it.) Double Dash 21:30, 4 August 2008 (UTC)
This is pretty funny. Now that you've changed your username to Cipher, you've gotta sign as Cipher, not Double Dash! :D --ニョロトノ666 21:37, 20 August 2008 (UTC)
Am I still signing as Double Dash? Double Dash 21:40, 20 August 2008 (UTC)
Crap! I'll change that. XD
There we go. All better now. =D Cipher 21:44, 20 August 2008 (UTC) (See? ^_^)

Why

Why do you put the vertical pipes at the beginning of the templates and infobox coding when they belong at the end of each line? MoldyOrange 13:41, 12 August 2008 (UTC)

They don't belong at the end of each line, they can go either at the start or the end of the line. I edited Wikipedia for a long time before I came here, and that's just how I put infoboxes together. Double Dash 13:44, 12 August 2008 (UTC)
I guess I only ever saw them at the end, If it doesn't change anything, then I guess it doesn't matter. MoldyOrange 18:20, 12 August 2008 (UTC)

Preparation for tomorrow

Since POP Series 8 is coming out tomorrow, there will be a couple of things we need to do. First off, it is highly likely that these cards will be coming from the DP-P Promotional cards. I am sending this message to anyone who would probably be the ones making the cards. Make sure that the articles aren't already made under the DP-P promo name, we can just move these and revise and it will be a lot less work. Also, the disambig's. will need to be changed, and redirects will need to be created. Just saying this so that everyone knows what is going on and that the couple of pages might already be named under something else.

On a somewhat related note, you have a habit of letting links like "Pokémon(TCG)" when it should be "Pokémon (TCG)". I know they are accidents, but try yor best to keep them from happening. MoldyOrange 22:58, 14 September 2008 (UTC)

lol

Your username was the one I was originally going for. When I found it had been taken, instead of my favorite team, I took my (then) favorite Pokémon. Just thought you'd like that bit of trivia. Gligar 01:51, 21 September 2008 (UTC)

Reverse holos

Why are they bad? I would think that if they are easy to read, then they should still be able to be used. The point of having the image is for the artwork not the text. Now, ones that are extremely difficult shouldn't be used, but ones that are easy to read still should stay. MoldyOrange 22:39, 29 September 2008 (UTC)

It's not that it's a bad image, per se. I understand your point, I just think we should try to use regular variants wherever possible when it comes to DP. Reverse holos from the EX series, I don't tag, because they look fine. The DP reverse holo effect makes the card look a hell of a lot different, though, so I don't think it's a true reflection of the card compared to the regular variant. Cipher 10:37, 30 September 2008 (UTC)

Oy!

You've been nominated for administratorship! By me! Use Template:User Admin Candidate on your page. --ニョロトノ666 21:00, 9 October 2008 (UTC)

Wow, that means a heck of a lot. Thanks very much. =D Cipher 21:14, 9 October 2008 (UTC)

I need your assistance...

I think I may have found two missing half decks/gift sets/deck kits that we may have missed somewhere and I want to know if you are willing to find more information and create the page(s). From what I could find out, it was released around the time of EX Unseen Forces was in Japan, possibly April 2005? The set symbols are this: SetSymbolPokéPark Blue.png and SetSymbolPokéPark Forest.png, and all the cards have the PokéPark symbol on it. The first card of PokéPark blue is here [1], and the last of PokéPark Forest is here: [2]. Could you do this? From my knowledge, These cards in English were released in POP Series 2, EX Unseen Forces, and EX Emerald. All the ones released in English were from PokéPark Blue, and all the cards from PokéPark Forest are PokéPark's Pokémon, hence, not released in English, but most were also released in the "PCG-P" Promotional cards. If you could do this, I thank you in advance! MoldyOrange 18:41, 11 October 2008 (UTC)

I'll do some digging tomorrow, aye. Cipher 20:57, 11 October 2008 (UTC)
I would like the PCG-P named PokéPark cards moved to the Pokémon Forest nameset, if you could do that instead of redirects. Thank you. MoldyOrange 13:06, 12 October 2008 (UTC)
Good timing, just about to link the Forest cards. Cipher 13:07, 12 October 2008 (UTC)
I just thought it would be better to have the nine of the cards under the same name, instead of 8 PCG-P and 1 PokéPark Forest. MoldyOrange 13:09, 12 October 2008 (UTC)
Fair point, actually. Well, all eight existing pages have now been moved. Cipher 13:12, 12 October 2008 (UTC)
Good, I'll make the Latias card page and edit the other ones. Now we know the origin of Kyogre... all we have left is the damn Altaria ex and its prevo, Swablu. MoldyOrange 14:24, 12 October 2008 (UTC)
Well, this'll surprise you, as it did me: a quick search of the old Japanese card database shows they were in Eidolon Forest. Cipher 14:29, 12 October 2008 (UTC)
Well, we now know where all the EX Emerald cards come from, (or at least I do). I wonder why they would have moved them. MoldyOrange 14:32, 12 October 2008 (UTC)
Strange, very strange. Could have been any number of things. I mean...yeah, I haven't a clue. Just one of those things, I guess. Cipher 14:39, 12 October 2008 (UTC)

Hey...

You got AIM? --ニョロトノ666 20:59, 15 October 2008 (UTC)

I do indeed, just added you on there. If you have MSN or Windows Live Messenger though, that'd be even better as I use that more often. Cipher (Talk) 23:11, 15 October 2008 (UTC)

Userspace

The userspace limit is only for things that don't contribute to the main wiki. If a problem leaks out into the mainspace, like wanted pages or category problems, the rules are neglected. The rules are also neglected if what you are making will soon be in the mainspace, feel free to make those. MoldyOrange 13:08, 18 October 2008 (UTC)

Alright, thanks very much for letting me know, I'll get onto that now. Cipher (Talk) 13:10, 18 October 2008 (UTC)

Dusknoir to Gengar

If you're going to have a page with a Pokémon in it, at least use the correct Pokémon. You had Dusknoir in a Gengar only page. Try to keep that in mind next time, thank you. --Ricco 19:47, 20 October 2008 (UTC)

It was a mistake, get over it. You know how many card pages that we have created? A couple mistakes don't hurt anything, just fix them and move on without chastizing the creator. Shiningpikablu never yelled at me for making many mistakes, and there were a lot more than just a misnamed Pokémon. I thank him for it if he reads this. Just fix it and move on. MoldyOrange 19:51, 20 October 2008 (UTC)
You try doing what we TCG editors do. I'd be very, very surprised if you didn't make a mistake every now and then. Cipher (Talk) 18:48, 23 October 2008 (UTC)

Shoot!

User space

Nothing official since it's kind of useful, but you've made double the amount of edits you're allowed to today...I'd appreciate it if you'd stop. Porygon-Z 18:44, 23 October 2008 (UTC)

Yeah, I know, bit naughty. I've finished now anyway. Four outta the six edits were related to a new template, though, in fairness, which will hopefully end up in the mainspace. Regardless, I'm done. Cipher (Talk) 18:47, 23 October 2008 (UTC)

Card info fields

Don't remove the jname and jtrans fields from the card attacks. They need to be there in order for people to add them, if they aren't there, no one would think they are importnt when they most definitly are. So, don't remove them again, please. MaverickNate 14:56, 25 October 2008 (UTC)

In that case, whilst I'm drafting the Galactic's Conquest pages, I'll add them in, 'cos I really don't like empty clauses where there should be something. Perhaps someone should go through recent sets and add them in too (starting with Stormfront and working backwards). Cipher (Talk) 16:35, 25 October 2008 (UTC)

Query regarding the TCG prerelease tag

'Sup. So, I was wondering when the prerelease tag gets removed. Is it after the prereleases begin, or is it after the set's official release? --ニョロトノ666 15:13, 25 October 2008 (UTC)

Legends Awakened had it during the afternoon of the first prereleases, enough time to guarantee enough physical copies getting into the channel. --Shiningpikablu252 15:25, 25 October 2008 (UTC)
Well, today's prereleases here in the UK (and also in Europe) are done and dusted, so...are we just waiting for the US prereleases to finish? Cipher (Talk) 16:33, 25 October 2008 (UTC)
Probably wait until noon on the west coast. That'll give enough time to put enough physical copies into the channel. --Shiningpikablu252 16:38, 25 October 2008 (UTC)

DP Era cards

I might be able to get some English scans of missing DP Era cards, before the Stormfront Set. I'll have to check my sets though. I should be able to give you a list of the missing cards I can get in a few hours. - Kogoro | Talk to me | 22:03, 28 October 2008 (UTC)

If you can do Mysterious Treasures and anything past Great Encounters, that'd be brilliant. DP and SW, I've got over 100 cards from each set to scan in over the next few days, so I wouldn't worry about those, but the others would be great. Cipher (Talk) 22:47, 28 October 2008 (UTC)
The reason I said DP era, was because I have about 1000 card images to upload because a certain user has generously said that he wants them on our site from his site, and I said I would do it for him. But he doesn't have DP era, that's why I said only the DP era for now. MaverickNate 22:51, 28 October 2008 (UTC)
That makes sense. In that case, then, if me and Kogoro get the DP era done - I'll be getting quite a few Stormfront boosters at some point over the next couple of weeks - if most-everything before then gets done, I might be able to fill in some gaps. My collection goes back to Base Set, even if it's a bit dry around Neo and e-Card. Cipher (Talk) 22:59, 28 October 2008 (UTC)

Something for you!

It's not adminship, although you'll probably get that pretty soon, too. From this point forward, you get a pardon on making more than three userspace edits per day, as long as they're not for frivolous stuff. See, you've been working on some things in your userspace that may in the future become important in the mainspace, so we can overlook it. --ニョロトノ666 01:18, 29 October 2008 (UTC)

Wow! Thanks very much, that's gonna make stuff a lot easier for me. Thanks! Cipher (Talk) 11:17, 29 October 2008 (UTC)

Re: Secret Wonders, Legends Awakened

I can definitely do scans for Secret Wonders, and I did plan on scanning them after finishing what I have in Diamond & Pearl. For Legends Awakened, I'm currently unable to find my set (I am too unorganized...) But, could you maybe give me a week or so to try and find my set before uploading the JP versions? If I can't find my set by then, I probably won't find it anytime soon, if at all. And, if I do happen to find them afterwards, I'll just copy Poli's list for that set as a precaution ^_^ - Kogoro | Talk to me | 21:27, 5 November 2008 (UTC)

Sure, works for me. If there's any you happen to not have that are on the list, I'll see if I can fill them in afterwards ^_^ - Kogoro | Talk to me | 21:31, 5 November 2008 (UTC)

DP card images

How did you get those in Jpg form? I was only able to find them in gif on the Japanese TCG site. If you are able to change them, I would like to ask if you could change some others for me. MaverickNate 20:55, 6 November 2008 (UTC)

I use Photoshop to be able to save them as a JPG. Link me to the ones you want changing and I'll get them done for you. Cipher (Talk) 20:56, 6 November 2008 (UTC)

"W" Promotional & Prerelease Cards

I happen to have 4 "W" Promotional, and 2 Prerelease Cards. Should I scan add them to their respective card articles, and a crop of the stamp to to the set pages? - Kogoro | Talk to me | 23:27, 9 November 2008 (UTC)

I'd say the crop of the stamp, but if the artwork isn't different, we do not need another scan of the same artwork. MaverickNate 23:31, 9 November 2008 (UTC)
Artwork is identical, I'll scan and do the stamp crops now. - Kogoro | Talk to me | 23:34, 9 November 2008 (UTC)
I disagree, personally. I'd just put the whole scan up, there's no point cropping. We can just have a gallery on the card pages, or just have the promo/stamped scan in the Release Information section. Cipher (Talk) 23:42, 9 November 2008 (UTC)
I have the gold stamp added to "W" Promotional cards, the Prerelease stamp isn't scanning properly, so I'm unable to add that one. I agree with Cipher about the gallery idea, we have galleries for multiple other cards, Charizard has 3 images in a gallery, all with the same artwork. - Kogoro | Talk to me | 23:57, 9 November 2008 (UTC)
I do not agree, and here's why. The only difference I see on the cards is the stamp. The artwork on the Charizard page is not the same, it is updated and looks different. But the artwork on the the W cards is exactly the same, and there is no point to have it on the page then. We only would need the stamp image, which you just put up. I see no further need for duplicate cards. Maybe we can state that they were W promos on the page, but the stamped image is very redundant. And furthermore, galleries take away the full view of the card's new artwork. That's why if there is only one different artwork than the premier, it should not be in a gallery and should be by itself in the released section. MaverickNate 01:12, 10 November 2008 (UTC)
For me, the stamp is enough to say, "yes, we can have this scan." The only case in which I would not allow the same artwork to be in a gallery is, for example, a card printed in one of the first four sets, then reprinted in either Base Set 2 or Legendary Collection. That, I wouldn't allow. "W" or prerelease stamps, even City/Regional/National Championships stamps, I think, should be allowed, because they show off a special version of the card. Cipher (Talk) 13:27, 10 November 2008 (UTC)
Well, then theyt can be used instead of the normal card scan. I'm not letting two of the same artwork on any page. The only reason we have the cards is artwork, so there is absolutely no point to have two. I don't mind if the display image has the stamp, the problem is having two of the same artwork. MaverickNate 22:17, 10 November 2008 (UTC)
See, I still disagree. I understand where you're coming from, and I respect that. I just feel that it prevents us from showing a collection of variations of the card. Take Luxio from Diamond & Pearl, for example. It has its normal variant, the one you pull out of booster packs. It has a Regional Championships stamped variant. It has the DP prerelease stamped variant. If you're saying we can only have one of the same artwork, that prevents us from having a collection of the different types of card. The same applies to cards with only two variants. Like I say, regular variants of, say, Wartortle from Base Set, Base 2 and Legendary Collection, there's no point having the B2 or LC prints. But the "W" stamped B2 print? Yes, I fully believe that should be there alongside the regular BS print. Cipher (Talk) 11:38, 11 November 2008 (UTC)

Booster Packs

They DO have at least one Energy, one Trainer, and one holo. ht14 18:09, 11 November 2008 (UTC)

I've bought hundreds in the past. That simply isn't true. Cipher (Talk) 18:19, 11 November 2008 (UTC)
So have I. Then what do the standard packs have? ht14 18:22, 11 November 2008 (UTC)
DP Series booster packs have one rare or rare holo, three uncommons, five commons, and one reverse holo (which can be replaced for a Pokémon LV.X, a secret rare or a shiny Pokémon in rare circumstances). For the e-Card and EX Series, it's basically the same, except one less uncommon. Cipher (Talk) 18:25, 11 November 2008 (UTC)
Ok, but in my two Neo booster packs, I had a holo, one trainer, one energy, some common, some uncommon. ht14 18:40, 11 November 2008 (UTC)
See, only two. I bought a fair few and that isn't the case. I mean, yeah, there are a lot of Trainers in some sets, such as Neo Genesis, so more often than not, it's fairly likely you'll get one. But not always. As for Energy cards, I believe that only applies to some sets, such as Base, Base 2 and Neo Genesis (maybe even the Gym sets, but I don't think so), but it isn't the case for EX:RS and Diamond & Pearl. I mean, basic Energy cards are in very few sets. Cipher (Talk) 18:45, 11 November 2008 (UTC)
Ok. ht14 18:48, 11 November 2008 (UTC)

Japanese images

Is there some consensus to use Japanese images for Stormfront cards? Or are some of 'em just there because no one could find the English-language scans? --ニョロトノ666 00:47, 16 November 2008 (UTC)

There is a consensus somewhat, but from now on, we put the Japanese image on the page until an English one is uploaded. It is to keep the list from growing exponetially, and it also because it is an easy way to get images. Do you have a problem with using the Japanese images first? The card images can always be replaced; they are mostly just a place holder for when the English is avaliable. MaverickNate 03:43, 16 November 2008 (UTC)
Yeah, that's pretty much it, just so there's something there whilst we wait for English scans. If you've any issues with it, let me know and we'll figure something out. =) Cipher (Talk) 10:47, 16 November 2008 (UTC)
No, no. No issue! :D I was just wondering if it's alright to replace the Japanese image with an English scan, if a high-quality one is available. --ニョロトノ666 03:13, 17 November 2008 (UTC)
Yeah, the Japanese images are mostly just place holders. MaverickNate 03:17, 17 November 2008 (UTC)

Stealthy

You snuck off of AIM before I could ask you something. Could you scan any cards that are left on the list? I want to get as many done, and then get the rest of what we can off the Japanese website. Politoed666 is supposed to upload his after yours, so I want to get this done as soon as possible. Are you able to? MaverickNate 23:48, 17 November 2008 (UTC)

I have around 100 Secret Wonders cards ready to scan in, but things are a bit hectic around here, so it might not be until later in the week before I get a chance to scan them in. Same for DP and MT, I can get some ready to scan in, but those definitely won't be ready until next week if so. Cipher (Talk) 23:53, 17 November 2008 (UTC)
Speaking of which, Cipher, you need to be on AIM more. --ニョロトノ666 23:57, 17 November 2008 (UTC)
Aye, I do, but things are just so hectic right now. Plus I'm on MSN more often. But I will make a point of logging into AIM much more often, as often as possible. =) Cipher (Talk) 00:00, 18 November 2008 (UTC)
I was speaking more of ex era than DP era, though. Just do them when you can. MaverickNate 00:02, 18 November 2008 (UTC)
Got plenty of those too. To make it easier for anyone else doing the EX Series, I'll go from EX Power Keepers backwards, once I've done DP. Cipher (Talk) 00:05, 18 November 2008 (UTC)
EX Power Keepers backward, that brings back memories...--Shiningpikablu252 00:09, 18 November 2008 (UTC)
Yes, memories of the Great Creation, but I somewhat wanted you to do DP frst, then start at Ruby & Sapphire, then Politoed follow you with what you couldn't do, and afterward, we upload the Japanese TCG website images for all, (if any) that we don't have after that. Then all that will be left is Aquapolis, Skyridge, P, T, and Unnumbered promos, the 8 in Vending and the 30 or so in VS. That isn't that much at all. MaverickNate 00:13, 18 November 2008 (UTC)
That'd take me a lot longer in regards to the EX Series. All my PK, DF and so on through to DS or UF are together, whereas RS and so on are sprawled around different boxes and folders so would take me longer to sort. This is the best way (the quickest way and the easy way for me), trust me. Cipher (Talk) 00:30, 18 November 2008 (UTC)

Protect

Since you're online now, can you please protect my latest talk page archive? Chocolate 23:38, 22 November 2008 (UTC)

Done. Cipher (Talk) 23:55, 22 November 2008 (UTC)

help

i need help i try 2 add more tags but theyre not coming up! - unsigned comment from Emo-fairy (talkcontribs)

That was because of you had copied the tag code directly from the pages AND had even somehow screwed it up. I fixed your userpage and left you a message about this, see your user talk page. Also, remember to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~) on talk pages. UltimateSephiroth (user · talk · contrib) 14:01, 26 November 2008 (UTC)

Aw, you missed it. --ニョロトノ666 01:50, 1 December 2008 (UTC)
Sorry about that. I tried to get online last night but I was that damn tired I just fell into bed. What did I miss? Cipher (Talk) 08:48, 1 December 2008 (UTC)

Hi

I didn't realize that your nomination got accepted. Here's a late congratulations on becoming an admin!--The Kkllnnator カメックス 21:55, 1 December 2008 (UTC)

Well, I'm still the baby admin, technically, so you're not that late. Cheers anyway. =D Cipher (Talk) 22:01, 1 December 2008 (UTC)

Congratulations!

Congrats!DCM((曲奇饼妖怪Spy on My Edits))
Oh come off it, Cipher. You knew as well as we did that you were a sure bet for this award. Keep up the good work. :D --ニョロトノ666 17:06, 3 December 2008 (UTC)

Checking on DP104, DP105 edits

Just to ask, I just want to make sure the pictures I changed are allowed in the DP104 & DP105 article. If it's disallowed, then I'm fine with it. I just added in a picture that isn't blur. Hoping that's fine.

Pardon me if I disturbed you, I was just randomly choosing an admin and ask for help.

Well, anime isn't my area of expertise, but I can't see anything wrong with your edits on those pages, so you should be fine. Also, as a side note, don't forget to sign comments with four tildes (~~~~) rather than just with your username. Cipher (Talk) 09:41, 5 December 2008 (UTC)

Am I allowed to go beyond the limit of User page editing if it's for an article? *tc26* 13:51, 5 December 2008 (UTC)

This article - is it in your userspace, and will it be moved into the mainspace, or is it just a personal page? Cipher (Talk) 14:00, 5 December 2008 (UTC)
More of a template I'll be making for a mainspace article. *tc26* 14:01, 5 December 2008 (UTC)
Well, if it's going to be moved into the mainspace at some point, I think (think) you'd be allowed to go over three edits. I was allowed to bypass the limit when I was making mainspace pages in my userspace. That said, still try not to go over three: use the Show Preview button whenever you can. I'd check it with another admin first, though, before you start editing. Cipher (Talk) 14:04, 5 December 2008 (UTC)

Unprotect please

Could you please unprotect {{Almiap}} for a bit? *tc26* 13:02, 12 December 2008 (UTC)

Sure, just let me know when I can reprotect it. Cipher (Talk) 13:04, 12 December 2008 (UTC)
Thanks! You may now protect it, along with {{Fiorep}}, {{Fiorepkmn}} and Fiorepkmn/dch. Thanks again! *tc26* 13:17, 12 December 2008 (UTC)

Hey

Are you avaliable to get onto AIM? I have a lot to say to you for weeks. MaverickNate 01:11, 17 December 2008 (UTC)

Not now, I'm afraid...it's 1am, I've had an awful day and I'm shattered. If you want my email address, I'll send you that tomorrow. For now, bedtime. Cipher (Talk) 01:12, 17 December 2008 (UTC)
Kay, I can get your e-mail address myself, so expect one in the morning. MaverickNate 01:13, 17 December 2008 (UTC)

Question...

I wouldn't happen to know you from Pokemon Acanthite, would I? You have the same username as one of the staff there, and you talk(type, rather) in a similar way. You can respond on my user talk. Kiryu 22:37, 23 December 2008 (UTC)

Aye, that would be me. I'm all over the place, I am. =D Cipher (Talk) 23:05, 23 December 2008 (UTC)
Well, then you're an excellent admin. That's all I wanted to know; it's been bugging me. xD Kiryu 18:43, 24 December 2008 (UTC)

Thanks

Thanks for blocking that vandal. Chocolate (Merry Christmas!) 16:55 12/24/2008

I didnt get to yell at him!DCM((曲奇饼妖怪Spy on My Edits))
Quite right. Vandals are best left well alone. The best thing to do isn't to yell at a vandal, it's to tell any online admins about it so we can deal with it swiftly. Merry Christmas from Cipher (Talk) 16:57, 24 December 2008 (UTC)
I just wanna say that when I saw the user name earlier when he joined, I thought to myself "this is gonna be a vandal", but, benefit of the doubt and all. The Dark Fiddler - Nos hablamos? 16:58, 24 December 2008 (UTC)
I was about to put the no remove talk page template on his page, but then it disapeared into oblivion. I hadn't even seen his vandalish ways; and I was the one who welcomed him! --Bulbapedian - Talk 16:59, 24 December 2008 (UTC)
Oh, and don't forget to delete his contributions page. --Bulbapedian - Talk 17:01, 24 December 2008 (UTC)
His userpages have been protected (and his talk page deleted) to prevent any interaction from him whatsoever. And, yes, his contributions page will be deleted, cheers. Merry Christmas from Cipher (Talk) 17:02, 24 December 2008 (UTC)
Oh crap, again... I wonder where these BluePikablu (or what was it again) clones come from... UltimateSephiroth (about me · chat · edits) 17:07, 24 December 2008 (UTC)

Uhhh

Why did you remove the name field in the trainer card info box? MaverickNate 13:53, 29 December 2008 (UTC)

'Cos it's pointless. The only purpose it serves is to link to the page it's on. The link itself is necessary, of course, because it's the "Name (TCG)" redirect. But there's no reason for it to actually be on the page. Merry Christmas from Cipher (Talk) 13:56, 29 December 2008 (UTC)
Except that not all of them are redirects. For example: The No. 1 Trainer, 2 trainer and 3 trainer cards are all disambiguatioins. MaverickNate 13:58, 29 December 2008 (UTC)
In that case, I'll go back through those few and add them separately outside the infobox (y'know, in that little table structure that includes the set and whatnot). Other than that, they're just not needed on the actual page. Merry Christmas from Cipher (Talk) 14:02, 29 December 2008 (UTC)

I would like to ask

Why you thought the need to upload duplicates and delete some of mine whenever we established that our's are mostly equal and are of great quality. Why replace ones that aren't crap? Like, some of those I understand, but the Power Keepers Wobbuffet, and Flareon... I don't see the point of replacing them. MaverickNate 15:31, 31 December 2008 (UTC)

Sorry, that was my mistake. I hadn't taken 'em (read: saved 'em to my PC) off the Archives with the intention of reuploading them, I'd done it so that I knew we had all the images for Power Keepers (I keep them all in a folder on my PC so that I know when all 108 scans are there). That was so long ago, when I decided to upload the official images for PK earlier today, I accidentally reuploaded your scans too, so I didn't have a choice other than to delete duplicates. Merry Christmas from Cipher (Talk) 15:55, 31 December 2008 (UTC)
Understandable...carry on. Sorry for bothering you. ;) MaverickNate 16:09, 31 December 2008 (UTC)
