+Just a small word of advice, usually when you leave a welcome message, one of the better things to do first is to check the edit(s) that the person made. If it looks like a vandal edit or something clearly stupid (like [[Special:Contributions/LaserEyedPanda|this person]]), it's usually better to not leave one, since chances are, they're going to be blocked and their talk page deleted anyway. If anything, it's just a waste of a few seconds on your end. (I mean, if you want to, go ahead, but it's usually not worth it).
