The word Pokémon is spelled with a capital P and an accented é. The é can be accessed by holding Alt and typing either 130 or 0233 on a Windows computer, and by using Option + e, then e again on a Mac. Otherwise, you can easily click it in the character palette below the editbox.
The word Poké Ball is spelled as two words. The "Poké" part is identical to the four beginning letters in "Pokémon"; "Ball" is spelled with a capital B. The spelling "Pokéball" arises frequently, but is incorrect.
The word "you" and all forms of it should not be used on encyclopedic pages unless it is a quote from Pokémon or other media. Bulbapedia is an encyclopedia, not a walkthrough.
On talk pages, please sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).
The use of link templates is official policy. For an explanation on their use, see the page on shortlinks.
If you happen to spot a vandal in the recent changes that has not been dealt with, please see this page for how to deal with it.
A list of pages that are linked to, but have not been created, can be found at this page. A list of short articles that may require more information can be found here, while a list of articles that need improvement can be found here.
For a future capture, release, trade, or evolution of a Pokémon belonging to a main character of the anime, please do not create or move the page to reflect your suspicions, even if they are shared by many others. Policy here is to wait until the episode in which the event happens takes place is aired, unless there is substantial evidence for the suspicion (such as Brock's Happiny being held in his arms).
Image uploading is done on Bulbagarden Archives, a separate wiki accessible through the toolbox in the sidebar. You will have to register separately for it, as well. This is done so that both Bulbapedia and Bulbanews have access to the images uploaded.
If you want to make a page about a character you made up, please create it at User:BlueJirachi/(name), not merely (name). Bulbapedia's main namespace is reserved for actual, official Pokémon, items, characters, and locations. Also, please try to make sure that subpages are not categorized by templates used within.
Having said this, please make sure that you do contribute adequately to the main namespace. Bulbapedia is not MySpace or Facebook.

No, you cant put hacked pokemon on GTS, and i have put it on there many times to clone it. And I checked with my friends ARC is for Cookie 15:05, 8 June 2008 (UTC)

You can put hacked Pokémon on GTS, it's Event Pokemon that can't go on GTS, proving yours is no event Pokemon. Guardian of Earth 15:09, 8 June 2008 (UTC)

You can not put hacked pokemon on GTS, and I got it with all of the Event moves from User:Sakura, so I dont know how she got it, but it is not hacked. Action Repaly said soC is for Cookie 15:11, 8 June 2008 (UTC)

It's the fact event Pokémon come with a Classic Ribbon that stops them from being traded on the GTS. Hacked Pokémon can have or not have this ribbon. Either way, they get traded on the GTS: I have a Lv 100 shiny Pachirisu which was caught at Lv 99 at Fuego Ironworks. That's going in the ranch when it's on European Wiis. Is it Worth it?

You are doing great. You should stay on here. You are new and so you probably don't feel comfortable yet. Soon you'll get into it. What I noticed when I first joined was that there wasn't many ways to contribute, what I would do is to find some interesting pages. Click the watch tab on the top next to history and then whenever it is changed it will appear on your watchlist.

So if a user adds something and you can expand upon it do it, or you can revert vandalism. Don't worry about making bad contributions at the start they can be undone, it may knock your confidence but just remember that you will get better. Guardian of Earth 16:57, 8 June 2008 (UTC)

BlueJirachi, you seem good! Too bad I'm too busy to battle you this month. My Pokemon on my Pearl game are messed up. My strongest Pokemon are Darkrai, Manaphy, Cresselia, Arceus, Heatran, and Giratina on LV. 100 that I got from a friend's brother's friend's action replay. I have all the Gen IV Pokemon which are all very very weak. Template:User Obsession

I moved the template there from because all user tags have "user" in the template name to differentiate them from other templates. For example, it's Template:User Jewish, Template:User Ice, and Template:User Good Friend.

And yes, I know it was Sailor Earth that made this tag, not you. But you're the one who's using it, so I thought I'd let you know and give you a chance to change the tags you put on your user page. still exists as a redirect, but I doubt it'll be too long before that's deleted. So far I have unlocked up to the Black and White Balloons and areas, and have created six new pages in my userspace (for moving to mainspace when ready). I also took it upon myself to suggest a new table format for the pages, which I've implemented on all five existing pages and on my new pages. I might create templates for the other three main areas, but as I am some time away from them (unless I buy a bunch of Diamonds, in which case it's completely opened up), I haven't bothered yet.

If you wish to help, here are the locations of the pages I have created that you are welcome to assist with. If you know anyone else who can assist, please direct them to these as well.

Gold Plateau (2 hours between games) (EDIT: mainspaced)
Silver Isles (2 hours between games) (EDIT: mainspaced)
Diamond Crater (3 hours between games)
Pearl Marsh (3 hours between games)
Black Realm (4 hours between games)
White Ruins (4 hours between games)

When editing, if possible, note which stage and location (Entrance, Center, Back, Special) you played to get the information in the edit summary. I'll keep track of what has been confirmed and not and edit other areas of the page as necessary. Of course, if you have other ideas for the pages, let's do what we can on those! Myself, I can get at least four playings of every stage in per day, possibly five if I'm on the ball with the Black and White ones.

I may start the Kalos pages in the next day or two if I wind up deciding to buy more Diamonds (5 hours there, 6 for Origin). Coincidentally, the best value cost of 3,000 Diamonds is within a dollar of the price of Rumble Blast in my area - CAD - which I find really interesting (since they limit you to that number). LOL, awesome. I'm still debating whether to pick up the extra Diamonds to hurry along the game. If I wanted to, I could buy the Starlight Islands Balloon right now, and have Distortion Land one level away, so I have to decide whether to sit here on 70-75 Diamonds (after my new mission) or to buy some and actually buy all the expensive Balloons since I know I'll get pulled away from this temporarily when Puzzles and Dragons demo comes out. All right, I set up the tables. They're all hidden (commented out) by default until data is added. I think I might buy some Diamonds now to help out; I just have to decide how many is the right amount. 900 will buy me the rest of the areas; in CAD, I'll have to cough up $12.49 for 1,000. Not as bad, actually, as the other areas. I could stop at 500, possibly, but then I either earn another 300 or so quickly or not get the final Balloons by the time I finish data mining these areas myself.

Almost Done LOL

I've slowed down finishing the last pages to try to verify all the locations, then verify them with that. LOL I am down to 36 unencountered species. While I know where some are, I don't like to check them off my list until I know it's the only place they can appear (the Pokédex entry with location data). Can you verify some Pokédex data if I give you a list?

All I want for Pokédex data is if it says All locations somewhere, or just Center onwards, or just Back/Special. If mukltiple habitats exist, I want to confirm both as well.

After the last few are verified, I'll be ready to start editing when the new template for side games is available. I can of course e-mail you the list to help if you want to. Also, some of these might appear in the last two or three castle missions (I know Mega Salamence does), but I'm Lv.65 and, while I could do them all now to that point...they tend to anger me sometimes. =) Also, I've jotted down research data I found, but the reason I'm checking is for any additional locations (for instance, Fearow appears around the Blushery Grove Legendary Tornadus).

The list I am wondering about and would appreciate you checking your Pokédex for data purposes:

I won't edit the list now, but remove Rayquaza and Kyurem from the Legendary verification and also consider Starmie, Wobbuffet, Tangrowth, Mamoswine, Uxie, Mesprit, Azelf,Amoonguss, and Carbink as found (a lot of those pop up in the final actual challenge mission). And of course, Salamence is confirmed now, too. So far the guesses I've made are correct as I haven't had to add any, so I have 21 left; 9 are Legendaries, 12 are not (including Unown).
