The Preview Button

Instead of editing a page several times in a row, try using the preview button to make sure your edit looks the way you want it to. It's right next to the Save Page button. Please try it out, so as not to clog up the Recent Changes. Also, if you want to edit multiple sections of the page, make sure that you click "edit this page" at the top of the page rather than editing it by section. I'm sorry... I just kept seeing things I hadn't noticed before. I was previewing it, though. Plus (in the case of the Heracross effect and Manectric pic) I found the info I needed on the Pokémon Shuffle page, somewhere I wasn't expecting to have it as the Mega Evolution page didn't. First of all, to indent, use colons at the beginning. Adding a whole bunch of spaces won't work.

Second of all, consider this as another reminder to preview your edits. Try to preview so you don't have to make another edit to fix mistakes you made. Berrenta (talk) 12:45, 8 July 2015 (UTC)

Thank you for telling us how to indent! We're new, and didn't know how. And we did preview, but the first time we missed the text at the top of the page, and then we realized Venusaur wasn't in there (I thought it would be, as it's event was a while ago...) Although that was our fault. And we didn't have Mega Heracross yet, but it was on the Shuffle page, which we somehow forgot to check. But, again, we're extremely sorry for clogging up the recent edits and will be more careful in the future. AmoongussForLife (talk) 18:13, 8 July 2015 (UTC)

Just An FYI

I'm awaiting a decision on a page split project; I actually have all the Shuffle data ready for both versions (with or without acceptance of the proposal) and mixed in with three other games to be added. Once I have that decision, I'll be editing all Pokémon articles anyway and Shuffle edits are already worked into those edits. Would you like to follow up as I edit in case of any Shuffle mistakes?

What I'm waiting for is a decision on a page split proposal; if split, there will be new links. I've been waiting a month for that decision. LOL CycloneGU (talk) 23:23, 22 August 2015 (UTC)

Page Split Project

Just saw your edit at the Expert Stages in the page split proposal. Go ahead and edit freely. Each of the pages is marked showing that anyone is welcome to edit them. I actually created a bunch of them after he set up the template and the first. I'm just waiting for the EB to approve them, so it doesn't hurt to keep them updated while we wait. =) CycloneGU (talk) 21:28, 29 August 2015 (UTC)

Special Stages

Just to update you as a regular editor at Pokémon Shuffle, the EB has approved the stage split into unique pages, but with Special Stages all as one page. You will see that main stages and expert stages are now linked via a table to new pages, which themselves will be expanded over time. Please use the new pages (in particular for new main stages to the newest area, or new Expert stages, as the rest just need expansion) for future updates. Prior to special Stages being moved into mainspace use, which will likely be tomorrow, you'll find it at Abcboy's userspace under the title "User:Abcboy/Special Stages". Thanks!
