::::Closed captions have now confirmed that the move Shaymin used in SM118 was indeed Aromatherapy. However, for some reason, Force Fire considers SM134 as the move's debut episode, despite SM118 being chronologically the first episode where it was used. He claims that the first instance the move is called out counts as the debut, which I strongly disagree with. I say the first chronological instance should be the one to count, since closed captions are considered a reliable enough source for disputed move confirmation. Could you help? --[[User:FinnishPokéFan92|FinnishPokéFan92]] ([[User talk:FinnishPokéFan92|talk]]) 18:37, 4 September 2019 (UTC)

== what does HS stand for ==
Hello
Recently you renamed side stories episodes from I.E. [[HS01|SS001]] to [[HS01]]
What does HS stand for?
for the BW and XY ones I get that BWS is Black & White or Best Wishes special, and XYS is XY special, but what is HS?
[[User:African Vulture|African Vulture]] ([[User talk:African Vulture|talk]]) 03:21, 19 October 2019 (UTC)
I innitially thought that it was "Hoenn special, " but that would be stupid because the only one of those that my research shows me takes place in Hoenn is [[HS03|We're No Angels!]] with [[HS12|training days]] is a bit ambiguous as to which region it is set in as it shows mostly flashbacks, so it could be Kanto, it could be Johto or it could be Hoenn.
At best you got two specials set in Hoenn if you count HS12 as being set in Hoenn, with the rest of Chronicle sbeing set exclusively in Kanto and Johto.  I believe CVI Islands are part of it too.
So I'm not sure what HS would stand for since Hoenn special makes 0 sense given that at best 2 of 18 are set in Hoenn.

: '''H'''ōsō special, see [[Weekly Pokémon Broadcasting Station]], that [[Pokémon Chronicles|Chronicles]] are, in part, based on (second paragraph). --[[User:Arseny1992|Arseny1992]] ([[User talk:Arseny1992|talk]]) 03:46, 19 October 2019 (UTC)
== Your opinion ==
Hi, I'd like to have your (personal, non-binding) input on a few things:
#For interwiki links, if there's a redirect at another wiki that redirects to a section on some other page that wiki, do you prefer to interwiki that redirect, the section, or not at all? Example: for Great Ball, would you link [[:it:Mega Ball]], [[:it:Poké Ball#Mega Ball]], or nothing Italian? (I'm just wondering what you and/or BulbaBot would prefer ''and why'', I certainly don't mean to go fix links.)
#Do you know whether it is common for (early) Japanese Pokémon names to have alternate spellings? Do you think alternate spellings are notable? (Concrete case: Nishida [https://web.archive.org/web/19980121112202fw_/http://www.gamefreak.co.jp:80/POKEMON/INTER/ATSUKO/INTER_AT.HTM said] she designed "スピア" rather than {{p|Beedrill|スピアー}}, for example, and I wonder what to do with that.)
#Why does [[Template:DL]] have a third param, or why should it have? Is there any benefit (well, apart from it being actually used that way now, I guess)? I guess what I'm asking is: Do you see any reason why the third param was added in the first place? Why should anyone use <nowiki>{{DL|A|B|C}}</nowiki> rather than <nowiki>[[A#B|C]]</nowiki>? (I hope you get what I mean.)
Thank you for answering. [[User:Nescientist|Nescientist]] ([[User talk:Nescientist|talk]]) 13:04, 19 October 2019 (UTC)
:#BulbaBot will automatically attempt to change an interwiki link to a redirect to the destination of that redirect, even if it's to a section. (This does mean that if it-wiki creates a page at it:Mega Ball, it will find a conflict between the two pages and not automatically correct it.)
:#We know a lot of the Pokémon had codenames and even different names entirely. That particular case seems more like a typo to me, honestly.
:#Parallelism in a list of other section links using DL, perhaps; in general the plain link for cases like that is much clearer IMO. --[[User:Abcboy|Abcboy]] ([[User talk:Abcboy|talk]]) 15:19, 19 October 2019 (UTC)
::#So, what I'm reading is the first alternative wouldn't last too long, and also that there's no conflict if sections on the same page (like it:Poké Ball) are the interwiki target of multiple, distinct pages, is that correct? (If so, out of curiosity, where would Bulbabot's Italian counterpart link back to, if at all, given there wasn't already a link to en:Poké Ball?) What about the second alternative vs. the third?
::#Are you talking about Generation I Japanese names that predate the release of Red and Green? If so, can you point me somewhere? I think I never heard that, even less saw a list. It's very obvious for Gen II by the Spaceworld demo, but for Generation I (..and I'm about to look for some helixchamber articles again to see if I'm mistaken), weren't the names often fixed before the designs??? (Since that Nishida site was first captured in Jan 1998, yes, スピア could easily just be a typo.)
::#Alright, thanks. (Not sure what exact parallelism you mean, though.) [[User:Nescientist|Nescientist]] ([[User talk:Nescientist|talk]]) 16:57, 19 October 2019 (UTC)
:::Ok, #2 research didn't take too long, [https://helixchamber.com/2018/12/24/how-the-capumon-stole-christmas/ you're right] (and I'm probably right about "often"). If you happen to have a list, still feel free to share it. :) [[User:Nescientist|Nescientist]] ([[User talk:Nescientist|talk]]) 17:04, 19 October 2019 (UTC)
::::Section links aren't followed except to check that the page in question exists and isn't a redirect, so it won't add any links from it:Poké Ball to any pages linking to a section of that page. This means it also wouldn't add any links back to it:Poké Ball unless there was a link to the page directly. No link and a section link is the same as far as the target wiki is concerned, they don't exist there.
::::As for parallelism, something like "{{DL|Mail|Favored Mail}}, {{DL|Mail|Thanks Mail}}, and {{DL|Mail|BridgeMail M|Bridge Mail M}} are programmed into X and Y" or some other example where most of the links are to section titles with some exceptions. --[[User:Abcboy|Abcboy]] ([[User talk:Abcboy|talk]]) 17:22, 19 October 2019 (UTC)
:::::Ah, that makes sense. Still, do you prefer one or the other?
:::::Thanks for clarifying. [[User:Nescientist|Nescientist]] ([[User talk:Nescientist|talk]]) 18:11, 19 October 2019 (UTC)
