Erm...

...to archive, you move the page to User talk:0 Degrees/Archive. Not by copy pasta.. ΘρtιmαtumTalk 22:24, 8 February 2009 (UTC)

But then the whole page will get archived. I archive sections when there's been no discussion in them for a week. 0° 22:25, 8 February 2009 (UTC)
Ha ha pasta... the only way to do it is by archiving the whole page. (This is just a starter for a convorsation, you know)Pyles 00:13, 9 February 2009 (UTC)
Archiving is a personal preference. Not everyone has to archive the same way and for the same reasons. 0° 00:14, 9 February 2009 (UTC)
Talk page section headers is also personal preference, so stop harassing DCM about it. MaverickNate 02:45, 9 February 2009 (UTC)
But if you use level 1 headers, the below headers will become sub-headers when they're not supposed to be. 0° 02:46, 9 February 2009 (UTC)
So, it's a talk page. Those really only matter on encyclopedic pages. MaverickNate 02:48, 9 February 2009 (UTC)
Level 1 headers are the same size as the page title up top, and that can't happen. You said that before. 0° 02:51, 9 February 2009 (UTC)
You know what else I said before? "Those really only matter on encyclopedic pages." I was talking about section one headers on mainspace pages. Do not take what I say out of context. The point was that you shouldn't yell at people for putting on something different, and you also shouldn't change them. They are part of other peoples' comments and no one is allowed to change other peoples' comments. MaverickNate 02:55, 9 February 2009 (UTC)

But if sections become sub-sections un-intentionally, it messes up the table of contents. 0° 02:55, 9 February 2009 (UTC)

Well then, if it is your page, you can change them. But if it doesn't bother the other people when it is their user talk, then it doesn't matter. MaverickNate 02:58, 9 February 2009 (UTC)
But the fact is, the discussions that un-intentionally become sub-sections usually aren't related to each other. 0° 03:00, 9 February 2009 (UTC)
Talk pages are unencyclopedic. Section headers do not matter on talk pages. If it is your page, you can change them. If it isn't, don't touch. MaverickNate 03:03, 9 February 2009 (UTC)
Is there anything in the writing about that? 0° 03:04, 9 February 2009 (UTC)

what the hell is up with the center tag on this page?? -- MAGNEDETH 03:05, 9 February 2009 (UTC)

I got the idea from Cipher. 0° 03:05, 9 February 2009 (UTC)
its stupid. it completely ruins the layout of the page. -- MAGNEDETH 03:07, 9 February 2009 (UTC)
In your opinion, that is. I think it makes the page better. 0° 03:07, 9 February 2009 (UTC)
Because he doesn't have to go around changing all the colons. Anyway, it is in writing. MaverickNate 03:12, 9 February 2009 (UTC)
That's not the reason. I just think it looks better. And I'm definitely starting a boycott against that rule. 0° 03:13, 9 February 2009 (UTC)
The rule that you aren't allowed to change other people's comments? I wouldn't do that if I were you... People would be able to change your comments all they like because you are trying to boycott that rule. MaverickNate 03:15, 9 February 2009 (UTC)
No, just the rule about the headers. 0° 17:25, 9 February 2009 (UTC)

Some convorsation with O I guess... Pyles 17:31, 9 February 2009 (UTC)

How are you going to boycott it?--RexRacer -talk 17:39, 9 February 2009 (UTC)

Forums. 0° 17:39, 9 February 2009 (UTC)

The Header rule is now part of the changing talk page comments rule. Breaking the header rule would result in breaking the rule where you can't change talk page comments. MaverickNate 20:02, 9 February 2009 (UTC)

I don't understand how headers are part of comments. 0° 20:12, 9 February 2009 (UTC)
There should be a law against the center tag being used on pages. It's goddamn killing the page. Oh, and Zero Degrees, tell Chocolatte that archiving is the same among any and all talk pages. In other words, no copy pasta~ ΘρtιmαtumTalk 09:12, 10 February 2009 (UTC)
Archiving can be done either way. And the center tag wasn't my idea. 0° 21:10, 10 February 2009 (UTC)
Hmmm... - Kogoro | Talk to me - 21:16, 10 February 2009 (UTC)
I'm trying to get that rule changed. 0° 21:18, 10 February 2009 (UTC)
Have fun with that then. - Kogoro | Talk to me - 21:20, 10 February 2009 (UTC)
Going to boycott it?--RexRacer -talk 21:23, 10 February 2009 (UTC)
Yes. 0° 21:23, 10 February 2009 (UTC)
What are going to boycott? The header thing, the centering or what? --PsychicRider 21:24, 10 February 2009 (UTC)
The header thing and the new archiving thing. 0° 21:25, 10 February 2009 (UTC)
OK then. Have fun with that. Where do you expect to find support? --PsychicRider 21:27, 10 February 2009 (UTC)

BP Death

were not dead. in fact, over the past few months, page visits, and overall editing has increased quite a bit. i unfortunately do not have a numerical figure, but id take a wild guess at at least 20-30%. were far from dead. -- MAGNEDETH 22:29, 10 February 2009 (UTC)

That isn't what I meant by "dead". 0° 22:30, 10 February 2009 (UTC)
then you sir, are using the wrong terminology. dead means inactive, lifeless, not being used, etc. -- MAGNEDETH 22:32, 10 February 2009 (UTC)

From admin: "They keep those templates from f....ing up with alignments & s..t..." — THE TROM — 00:52, 11 February 2009 (UTC)

I'm going to be brutally honest

OK, so most people here don't seem to like you. However, if you want to make the best of your time here and enjoy Bulbapedia, JUST GET OVER IT. I can't help but think that this is all your own fault. You have been warned so many times about things, yet you keep on doing them. It is that behaviour that drives the animosity between you and most of the admins here. You wanted a fresh start before, but by posting your new name, and linking your old accounts you made that pretty damn near impossible. And now, we're here again: you are getting angry and violent, and threatening to leave. So you have three choices, BabyG/Chocolate/0 Degrees:

  1. Ignore everything and plow on ahead
  2. Leave forever
  3. Start a new account, and never ever edit like you have been again; otherwise they will find you and let you have it. Again.

So it's up to you. Good luck...... (and while you do not suck, your behaviour recently certainly has). — THE TROM — 01:19, 11 February 2009 (UTC)

Look, I'm sorry I had to get harsh on you, but what the admins say is most likely right, and the fact that what you said, is wrong. And what I said, also crossed the line, and I'm apologetic for it. I hope you can figure things out and listen others. Okay? --PsychicRider 01:21, 11 February 2009 (UTC)

Spaces

FIND SOMETHING ELSE TO DO DAMNIT!! HOW MANY DAMN TIMES DO I HAVE TO TELL YOU TO STOP MAKING EDITS BECAUSE OF DAMN SPACES!?! -- MAGNEDETH 18:44, 12 February 2009 (UTC)

BP:COC. 0° 18:44, 12 February 2009 (UTC)
i was nice! i was plenty nice! but youre testing my patience! i have miles of patience! but no matter how many times youve been told, YOU STILL EDIT TO REMOVE USELESS SPACES!! last warning!! -- MAGNEDETH 18:46, 12 February 2009 (UTC)
All caps is "nice"? And why wouldn't I remove spaces if they're useless? 0° 18:47, 12 February 2009 (UTC)
im through being nice to you given not only me, but other admins, have yelled at you for this. also, adding/removing spaces is fine IF YOURE DOING SOMETHING ELSE ON THE PAGE CONSTRUCTIVE. YOU ARE NOT DOING THAT. -- MAGNEDETH 18:49, 12 February 2009 (UTC)
If you're not gonna be nice, I'm letting evkl know that you're violating the code that he came up with. 0° 18:50, 12 February 2009 (UTC)
go right ahead. but in the meantime, stop adding/removing spaces. -- MAGNEDETH 18:53, 12 February 2009 (UTC)
Why? Useless spaces put too much un-needed white space on the article. 0° 18:53, 12 February 2009 (UTC)
the article looks exactly the same with those spaces you added/removed, except for the BR that you removed which actually then barfed into the trivia section, ruining it. they arent useful edits either. they are useless. they do nothing to better the content of the article. -- MAGNEDETH 18:59, 12 February 2009 (UTC)

How did removing the <br> ruin the trivia section? If you put un-needed extra white space, it'll just make the article longer when there's nothing beneficial with the added length. Also, you even said before that whenever someone see bullets, "space 'em". 0° 19:01, 12 February 2009 (UTC)

yes, absolutely, but only if youre on the page doing something else constructive. how many times do we have to tell you that before it enters your head? -- MAGNEDETH 19:03, 12 February 2009 (UTC)
Why can't we make edits just to space stuff? It's not like the site's gonna crash or anything. 0° 19:05, 12 February 2009 (UTC)
because its stupid and pointless. theres a mountain of better things to do on this site, and you want to waste your time on playing with useless spaces? you might as well not edit at all! -- MAGNEDETH 19:07, 12 February 2009 (UTC)
However, spaces make things easier to read in the edit box. 0° 19:07, 12 February 2009 (UTC)
NOT THE POINT. people dont come to the site to read the edit boxxes, they come to the site to read the article. -- MAGNEDETH 19:12, 12 February 2009 (UTC)
That's true, but it's not what I meant. If someone is editing the page to fix something, it'll be easier for them to edit it if there's spaces, because then they can see everything easier. 0° 19:14, 12 February 2009 (UTC)
or they can add the spaces themselves while making their constructive edit, which is what ive been saying all along. -- MAGNEDETH 19:18, 12 February 2009 (UTC)

All right fine. But why are you only yelling at me when I'm not the only one who does it? 0° 19:20, 12 February 2009 (UTC)

because youre the only one i ever see do it. if someone else does it, ill yell at them. -- MAGNEDETH
Well, Tesh does it too, yet you don't yell at him. 0° 19:25, 12 February 2009 (UTC)
fine, ill make sure to yell at him next time he does it. -- MAGNEDETH 19:29, 12 February 2009 (UTC)

Play nice. Zero, play by the rules. Deth, relax. OK? OK. -- evkl (need to talk?) 19:56, 12 February 2009 (UTC)

Okay... I have a question

How is the Ralts/Snover trivia about the base stats notable? And are you going to go through and add it to every Pokémon with a unique total if it is notable? The Dark Fiddler - 10% Satisfaction Guaranteed! 20:32, 13 February 2009 (UTC)

It's notable because it only applies to them. No Pokémon has a base stat total of 198 except Ralts. No Pokémon has a base stat total of 334 except Snover. If something only applies to 1 Pokémon, I find it notable. 0° 20:35, 13 February 2009 (UTC)
No response? 0° 20:43, 13 February 2009 (UTC)
I counted, about 52 Pokémon have unique base stat totals. Hardly notable. The Dark Fiddler - 10% Satisfaction Guaranteed! 20:44, 13 February 2009 (UTC)
But each one has a total that isn't shared by any other Pokémon. 0° 20:45, 13 February 2009 (UTC)
So? The main point of the trivia is that they have a unique total. The difference is like the difference between saying "This Pokémon is the only Pokémon with the height of 'w/e'" and "This Pokémon has a unique height" The Dark Fiddler - 10% Satisfaction Guaranteed! 20:47, 13 February 2009 (UTC)
And no, that isn't notable either. The Dark Fiddler - 10% Satisfaction Guaranteed! 20:48, 13 February 2009 (UTC)
Every Pokémon has a name not shared by anything else? Does that mean we should put it into trivia? no, it doesn't. It is not unique. MaverickNate 20:48, 13 February 2009 (UTC)
Wow, another arguement about my contributions. Maybe I shouldn't contribute anymore and get kicked out of Bulbapedia. Might as well. Pyles 23:43, 18 February 2009 (UTC)

I'll Stop

Ok, fine. I'll stop. Can I edit after a number of hours have gone by or do I have to wait till tomorrow? --Dialgafan1 18:37, 17 February 2009 (UTC)

to reduce excess code, you can use the {{User Template}} for that stuff. -- MAGNEDETH 02:28, 19 February 2009 (UTC)

Do you get it? Zero degrees, you seem nice, but I'm still gonna protect my page. If you're the one who keeps destroying my FAQs, then stop. I will have an FAQ page.- unsigned comment from Lapras (talkcontribs)

Seeking a bit of advice: how does one get a name change here, I noticed you’ve had two? I tried looking through all the Bulbapedia policies and pages but I can’t seem to find it. Thanks for your help! --LaprasBoi 18:26, 17 June 2009 (UTC)

Um, well, someone else told me, but thanks anyway. And sorry for bringing up your previous names, a little more digging showed that you had wanted to be disassociated with your last account. --LaprasBoi 22:55, 26 June 2009 (UTC)

Anime move errors

I noticed you changed it so that for Pokémon without specific pages, the "'s" after the trainer name was not part of any link. Also, you changed Ash's Starly to Staravia. Why? It looks sloppy and wierd with the 's unlinked. And it was a Starly when it used Gust, hence, the presence of Starly on the list. Missingno. Master wants YOU! Join the Order of the Glitch!
