Zesty Cactus

I was first introduced to Pokémon via the TCG, my very first card was a {{TCG|Water Energy}}. At the time, I only wanted cards so I could trade them with other kids (since that was the fad at the time) but gradually I learned more about the characters that appeared on the cards, and the rest was history. Shortly thereafter, I was given my own [[Game Boy Pocket]] and a copy of Pokémon Red Version (Allegedly, my mother went to the store and they were sold out of Game Boy Colors, so she got me the Pocket instead). Since then, I've played games from every single generation ([[Generation III]] is still my favourite). As for side games, I've basically played all of them (I even own [[Pokémon Project Studio Red and Blue]]!) but my favourites so far are the Pokémon Ranger series, Pokémon Card GB 1 & 2, PokéPark and PokéPark 2, and [[Pokémon Typing Adventure]] :)

I joined Bulbapedia on June 14, 2008 and my first edit was [http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/w/index.php?title=Singing_Pok%C3%A9mon_Encyclopedia&oldid=388178 creating the page] [[Singing Pokémon Encyclopedia]] on June 15, 2008. Most of my early edits were for Pokémon CDs until I gradually moved on to writing about merchandise, books, and Pokémon manga. Basically, I started off by writing about things I knew I had in my collection but were absent from the wiki.

 

I do try to lurk the [[Special:RecentChanges|recent changes]] every day, keeping track of the changes and new edits to the site. I was first promoted to {{bp|Junior Administrator}} rank in 2010 and have since been promoted to the {{bp|Editorial Board}}, so please [[User talk:Zesty Cactus|let me know]] if you need any assistance, or if you have any questions about Bulbapedia, Pokémon, manga pages or anything else!
