Old Chateau

The Old Chateau (Japanese: もりのようかん Forest Manor) is an abandoned manor house near the exit of Eterna Forest in Sinnoh. Occasionally, the spirits of a little girl and a butler appear in the rightmost bedroom on the second floor and in the dining hall, respectively. When the player enters the fourth room from the right, the little girl will appear in the room east of where the player is. She will be facing the player, and then floats towards the exit, never being seen again when the player exits the room that they are in. The spirit of the butler may appear in the dining room when the player enters it. He will be facing the player and floats towards the kitchen.

The Marvelous Bridge (Japanese: ワンダーブリッジ Wonder Bridge) is a through arch bridge that connects Route 15 and Route 16 in Unova. On certain occasions, the spirit of a young girl will be standing on the east side of the bridge, and will disappear if the player walks towards her. The man standing beside her was shocked and asks the player if the little girl "disappear". An old lady at the east gate will explain that the young girl used to play around the area with an Abra before the bridge was built.

Strange House

The Strange House (Japanese: ストレンジャーハウス Stranger House) is a lone house at the base of Reversal Mountain in Unova. The same spirit of the young girl at the Marvelous Bridge appears several times when the player is inside the house. In the first encounter, she exclaims that she is stuck in an everlasting, endless dark dream, and asks where her parents and Abra are. In the next encounter, she says that she heard her dad's voice in her dreams, telling her to stop looking for the Lunar Wing and to stay with him. In the final encounter before she disappears, she realizes that the player had taken the Lunar Wing and requests the player to return it to Cresselia, and explains that she was on the bridge to wait for Cresselia to appear.

Route 217 (Japanese: 217ばんどうろ Route 217) is a route in northern Sinnoh, connecting Route 216 and Acuity Lakefront. A woman in one of the houses found on the snowy route will be inside, and when the player talks to her, she seems surprised to see a human entering her house and awards the player with a Spell Tag. When the player exits and reenters the house, she is no longer there. An Ace Trainer named Olivia in the same route will ask the player if they are human, and exclaims that due to the snowy weather, there are several reports of hauntings.

Lumiose City (Japanese: ミアレシティ Miare City) is a large city nestled in the north-central part of the Kalos region. On the second floor of the Fighting Dojo's building, a Hex Maniac will appear on the player's first visit. When the player reaches the second floor via the elevator, the lights in the room flicker several times for a few seconds, before the woman will appear and say "No, you're not the one," and float away. When the player goes to Hotel Richissime, another Hex Maniac, presumably the same woman will tell the player not to talk to her as she will not be able to hear the elevator.

A Youngster on Big Wave Beach says that ghosts have been appearing in the Trainers' School, and that nobody dare to go near the school at night. When the player heads to the school, a little girl and a Drifloon can be found inside the school compound. When the player interacts with her, she requests help from the player, that there are seven mysteries to be solved in the school. After solving six mysteries, she exclaims that she does not know what the seventh mystery is, and gives the player a Wise Glasses. She explains that she came from a foreign country and that she had trouble speaking the native language. She came to school and managed to make friends. When her friends were scared of the mysteries, she wants to solve the mysteries so that her friends will not be scared any more. After the conversation with the little girl was interrupted by the school's security officer, when the player turns around, the little girl and the Drifloon had disappeared. The security officer exclaims that the player is alone the whole time. When the player speaks with the Youngster on Big Wave Beach again, he tells the player that the mysteries were misunderstandings. However, locals still talk about the seventh ghost story, and that there was a student taken away by a Drifloon once.
