He is level 87, has the ability {{a|Torrent}}, and has an Adamant nature. He knows the moves {{m|Aqua Tail}}, {{m|Swords Dance}}, {{m|Ice Fang}}, and {{m|Slash}}.}}

While battling, Dean noticed how strong it was, he decided to catch him. He enjoys honey a lot, occasionally coming out of his Poke Ball to eat some. He is level 84, has the ability {{a|Guts}}, and has a Jolly nature. He knows the moves {{m|Megahorn}}, {{m|Brick Break}}, {{m|Stone Edge}}, and {{m|Swords Dance}}.}}

Pleased by this, he decided to follow Dean to Lake of Rage. Dean realized he followed him, so Dean caught him. He evolved into {{p|Ampharos}} shortly after, while battling a {{P|Gyarados}} using one {{m|Thunderbolt}}. He is level 84, has the ability {{a|Static}}, and has a Modest nature. He knows the moves {{m|Magnet Rise}}, {{m|Thunderbolt}}, {{m|Power Gem}}, and {{m|Signal Beam}}.}}

Dean used Hercules and Snapper to knock it out. Dean realized there was a thorn stuck in his foot. He was very grateful of Dean, and he decided to catch him. While in Kanto, Dean received [[protector]] from [[Brock]], allowing Tank to evolve into {{p|Rhyperior}}. Tank has a very good defenses, which is how he got his name. He is level 85, has the ability {{a|Solid Rock}}, and has an Impish nature. He knows the moves {{m|Stone Edge}}, {{m|Earthquake}}, {{m|Fire Punch}}, and {{m|Swords Dance}}.}}

He evolved into {{p|Pidgeotto}} in [[Union Cave]]. He evolved into {{p|Pidgeot}} on [[Route 38]]. He is extremely fast, being able to carry Dean to [[New Bark Town]] from [[Cianwood City]] in a minute. He is level 83, has the ability {{a|Keen Eye}}, and has a Naive nature. He knows that moves {{m|Fly}}, {{m|Giga Impact}}, {{m|Steel Wing}}, and {{m|Double Team}}.}}

It decided to be partners with Dean when it saw Dean shield a Rattata from it's ThunderBolt attack. StormCloud has a strong bond with Dean, and can speak to him using telepathy. It is extremely fast, and can carry Dean across Johto. It is level 86, has the ability {{a|Pressure}}, and has a Rash nature. It knows the moves {{m|Thunderbolt}}, {{m|Calm Mind}}, {{m|Extrasensory}}, and {{m|Magnet Rise}}.}}
