The mayor of Nimbasa City first appeared in Battle at the Museum in Pokémon Adventures.

The mayor first debuted talking to White, the director of BW Agency, and other members of the Nimbasa City planning committee on the Xtransceiver to discuss potential ideas to raise the popularity of Nimbasa City. After White suggested the idea of a Musical, the mayor quickly agreed to the idea and left all the details for her to take care of. He later appeared in Special Delivery to check on the progress of the Musical and attend the opening ceremony.

He later appeared in A New Perspective to apologize to Marshal at the Battle Subway for being late and then to scold White for disappearing the night of the opening ceremony. He later introduces the Battle Subway facility to Black and White as another attraction that will open with the Pokémon Musical.
