Introduction

I started playing Pokémon in 2003. I fondly remember my inexperience in the days of Hoenn and that limited Pokédex of a mere 200 Pokémon. I originally started with Treecko, who I nicknamed "Treekee", but later I began with a Mudkip, I who named "Flower," as I stupidly thought that the gills on its sides were flowers, which would, of course, be more fitting to a Grass-type). I have since become interested in Ice, Water, and Steel-types, and all of my favorite Pokémon fall into that category. My favorite Pokémon are Metagross, Glalie, and Swampert. Though I will probably never find anything earth-shattering about it, Pokémon is my absolute favorite game.

Favorite Kind of Pokémon?

Overall, I am a Water, Ice, Steel, and Rock-type Trainer, and, as such, I like almost all Pokémon in those types. I do like several Pokémon that are outside of those categories, however.

Ice Types

I personally like Glalie, Mamoswine (and Piloswine), and Regice.

Steel Types

Metagross (my absolute favorite Pokémon), Registeel, Aggron, Magnezone (and Magneton), and Forretress are my favorite Pokémon of this type.

Water Types

Swampert, Mantine, Slowking, Slowbro, Blastoise, and Huntail are my favorite Pokémon in this type.

Rock Types

Cradily, Armaldo, Bastiodon, Tyranitar, and Regirock are my favorite Rock types.

Other

Vileplume, Dragonite, Salamence, Dusknoir (and Dusclops), Umbreon, Typhlosion, Torterra, Giratina, and Dialga all form this category.
