I'm BP. My real name is Sam Laurel. I'm an 18-year-old dude and have lived in California all my life. I work at a bowling alley. I make comics. My objective in life is to become an artist in the gaming world. My objective on this user page is... not to make it very fancy at all.

Bullet Points With Things Involving Pokémon

• My favorite Pokémon is Politoed.
  • In HeartGold, I have five Politoeds. Four are already EV trained. Three are at level 99 or 100. One is blue.
• My favorite gym leaders are Blue, Blaine, Misty, Wattson, Guile, Sabrina, Jasmine and Chuck.
• The best Elite Four member is Drake. Because he's like Admiral Bobbery in human form. And that's awesome.
• I hate the anime.
  • It's effin' terrible, that's why!
• I have not read the comics but they sound all right.
• Favorite game is HeartGold/SoulSilver. Least favorite is Diamond/Pearl/Platinum.
• I also enjoy the Mystery Dungeon games.
• I think I'm somewhat good at the games. I know about egg moves, EVs, IVs, natures, some good strategies, all that jazz. But I don't pay any mind to what's weak or strong, I just raise what I like.
  • I never use legendaries. I believe in using less popular Pokémon, the Pokémon nobody told you were powerful. And when I meet someone and battle them the first time, often they'll comment, "I never really thought Politoeds were that strong."
    • If you're reading this and you're thinking "I could so take this scrub," I'm sorry--I'd love to battle but I don't have Wi-Fi at home... Maybe when I'm through with job training I'll be able to do it on my breaks at work.
      • Regardless, I have no intention of hanging around the forums.
• My favorite type is Electric, but I have many favorites that lie in the Water-type. Like Politoed and Quagsire and Ludicolo and Sharpedo and Lanturn...
  • Even then, I always favor the Fire-type starters. Except in D/P/Pt, in which I don't particularly like any of the starters. I suppose Torterra's okay...

Bullet Points With Things Involving Everything Else (Stuff you don't care about)

• I like superheroes a lot. Both reading/watching/playing media with them and inventing them.
  • Much more of a Marvel guy than a DC guy, though.
  • Dr. Horrible.
  • This may be one of the reasons I like Tatsunoko's works from the 1960s so much more than the modern image of Japanese cartoons. But then again, Bob in the Bottle was hilarious and had nothing to do with superheroes. Hm.
• Other video games I like and haven't made any comics about include... BioShock, Half-Life, A Boy and His Blob, Viewtiful Joe, Street Fighter, Banjo-Kazooie, God Hand, some Kirby games, WarioWare... and whatever
  • I like FPSes but generally not the ones with a war motif.
• Favorite movie is more than likely Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog. If that doesn't count, then GET OUT
• Favorite cartoon from when I was a kid is Hey Arnold!
• Can't play any instruments. I have a plastic blue ocarina a friend gave me but I don't know the first thing about reading music. If I wanted to learn I'd want to play the keytar. Because those are cool.
