Route 23 connects {{OBP|Victory Road|Black 2 and White 2}} with the [[Giant Chasm]]. It is a mountain-like road, with many mountainous features, such as ponds and crevasses. The northwest portion of the route features a puzzle involving {{m|Strength}} and {{m|Cut}}. There are narrow paths between trees and raised platforms, making it hard to navigate and find the right path.

* Route 23's background music was remixed for [[Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U]]. It can be heard in Wii U version on the {{OBP|Kalos Pokémon League|stage}}. In [[Super Smash Bros. Ultimate]], it can play on any stage from the Pokémon series.
