Undella Bay appeared in ''[[BW096|Meloetta and the Undersea Temple!]]'' and ''[[BW097|Unova's Survival Crisis!]]'', where it and the Abyssal Ruins were the site of the final phase of [[Team Rocket]]'s [[Operation Tempest]]. After capturing {{an|Meloetta}}, {{an|Giovanni}} used it and its recorded {{m|Relic Song|song}} to unlock the [[Reveal Glass]]'s seal in the Abyssal Ruins. Using the Reveal Glass, Giovanni then proceeded to summon and take control of {{DL|Forces of Nature (anime)|Tornadus}}, {{DL|Forces of Nature (anime)|Thundurus}}, and {{DL|Forces of Nature (anime)|Landorus}}, transforming them into their {{DL|List of Pokémon with form differences|Forces of Nature|Therian Formes}} in the process. In the end, thanks to {{Ash}}, {{ashfr}}, [[Cynthia]], and [[Ridley]], Meloetta was freed, the [[Legendary Pokémon]] were stopped, and Team Rocket's plan ended in a failure, forcing them to retreat.
