Friend Area

Turtleshell Pond (Japanese: 甲羅 Shell Pond) is a Friend Area in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team and Blue Rescue Team and a rescue team camp in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX in the Volcano area. In Red Rescue Team and Blue Rescue Team, it has a capacity of 10 Pokémon. All the Pokémon that reside here are Water-type.

If Squirtle or Psyduck is the hero or partner Pokémon, the player starts the game with this Friend Area. Otherwise, it can be purchased from the Wigglytuff Club for 5,500 Poké.

Geography

Turtleshell Pond is a small, clear, bubbly pond. It has either turtle shells or patterned rock floating in it. It also has a building carved out of a large rock rising out of the water. As opposed to walking on the water, the Pokémon here stay on the bridge and the building in the center.
