I've changed the pic on Christianity. Christianity is about one God, but in three forms. Kinda liek a Three-in-one. And Arceus has Many Forms. So I put Arceus. Optimus35Talk | DP 09:43, 21 September 2007 (UTC)

Yeah, but Delibird is a Christmas representation. I see your logic, but Deibird would be better. --悪臭の人 12:44, 22 September 2007 (UTC)

But then again, Christians don't believe in jolly men breaking into houses just to leave gifts. I should know, I'm a Christian... Although Delibird represents Christmas, to Christians, Christmas is when God gives us eternal life. I'm not sure, maybe we should not use a Pokémon at all... Optimus35Talk | DP 10:05, 26 September 2007 (UTC)

I've fixed it so that I can put Arceus in... Agent 448Talk | DP 07:58, 5 October 2007 (UTC)

Personally, I'd've used Magikarp, for the whole fish symbol thing. --DarkfireTaimatsu 07:59, 5 October 2007 (UTC)

Magikarp's useless when it's a Magikarp. Don't insult any religion...(What fish symbol? It's a CROSS) Agent 448Talk | DP 07:05, 6 October 2007 (UTC)

Fish have been used to represent Christianity, because in the Greek language, "Christ" and "Fish" share the same first letter. I know this because I was pretty much raised as a Catholic. The fish thingy is not a bad idea. It makes more sense to me than Delibird, because Christmas seems to me to have over the years lost its religious value and become more secular. It's not that big a deal in the Christian calender in the first place -- the big thing for Christians is Easter. --Manga-in-a-bottle 07:51, 6 October 2007 (UTC)

You're right! And it's nice to know another Christian! Agent 448Talk | DP 07:58, 6 October 2007 (UTC)

Nidoran? Buneary? An egg? TTEchidna 10:00, 6 October 2007 (UTC)

Well, I was raised Catholic, but in practice... ^_^; --Manga-in-a-bottle 10:03, 6 October 2007 (UTC)

First of all: yeah, Magikarp isn't a good idea to represent Christianity. I know that the Fish is a symbol of Christian, but with the Magikarp, looks that this religion is...idiot and useless, like Magikarp. I am Christian, and here is my opinion: don't matter the Pokémon, if it's Delibird or Arceus, whatever, these Tags are to the users show the Religion that they believe.JUST THIS! It is REALLY necessary to discuss soo much?--Haruka uzumaki 19:46, 9 October 2007 (UTC)

Delibird? Yeah, sure. Because we, christian worship post pigeons. --Maxim 14:35, 23 October 2007 (UTC)

Are you trying to be anti-Christian!?!? DELIBIRD = CHRISTMAS!!!!!!! --Theryguy512 12:59, 22 November 2007 (UTC)

We do? I'm not sure you'll get into heaven that way if you worship pigeons... Agent #448 | 12:05, 22 November 2007 (UTC)
First of all, it's a penguin. Second of all, it represents Santa Claus. No one said you have to "worship" penguins to use this template. The Muslim template is Cresselia, and I don't worship swans! YinYang1195 17:37, 22 November 2007 (UTC)
Believe it or not, Santa isn't a Christian figure. Delibird represents the commercial side of Christmas rather than the relgious side. Thus, Delibird isn't a representation of Chistianity.
My preference for this tag is Arceus, since it's basically "the one" who created the universe. (And splitting into the lake trio is somewhat akin to the holy trinity.) Or if you want to go with a fish, Remoraid would be a better choice than Magikarp anyway. --FabuVinny T-C-S 19:22, 24 November 2007 (UTC)

Mostly all religions believe in God, so why does this one have to have Arceus? YinYang 1195TALK 21:25, 26 December 2007 (UTC)

Because we have nothing better to -- actually. Because when people put this on their page they can change it. Christianity is the most popular/or whatever religion, I think.. so I guess Arceus'd be the one to fit..? Tina δ 21:47, 26 December 2007 (UTC)
