Bit delayed, but these are the parameters. Werdnae (talk) 03:24, 6 May 2012 (UTC)

Gender

Can someone add a gender parameter and display? Putting it in the prose is awkward. --LaprasBoi 08:58, 3 December 2009 (UTC)

Done. I added a gender parameter that will display in the title after the Pokémon's name. --electAbuzzzz 09:04, 3 December 2009 (UTC)

DAB'ing nickname autolinks?

Could a parameter be added so that the auto-generated Main article link can be disambiguated if needed? I see a fair few nicknamed Pokémon from PokéSpecial, that are either linking directly to a CotD's or similar's page, or having the (Adventures) suffix put in the title of the section. TheChrisD RantsEdits 09:48, 14 December 2009 (UTC)

I added a parameter called "link" that should override the default main link when used. --electAbuzzzz 13:16, 14 December 2009 (UTC)

Main characters

This template is NOT to be used for main characters. One: Most of there articles are too big to have one. 2: All of their Pokémon have articles anyway. I find it highly pointless to add this template to their pages when its main purpose was to discuss Pokémon that did not have articles.

Of course, Max is exceptional as most of the Pokémon he befriended don't have articles.

So I'm asking you all to stop adding these to the main characters' articles. There are plenty of CODs that need them first. Concentrate on them first. I repeat, DO NOT waste your time basically repeating information. All you guys are doing is clogging the articles. Thanks. --ケンジガール 02:21, 25 December 2009 (UTC)

I don't think it would be unreasonable to user the template just for the Pokemon they have on hand, though - and others agree with me. The tables that we have currently look ugly, and I think that for their party Pokemon they could do to be a little more eye-catching. 梅子 05:37, 25 December 2009 (UTC)
I think it'd be nice to just have a quick brief summary for Pokémon on hand... just so one could glance at one article without having to go to several pages. Plus it'd make them stand out more for those who are just scanning the article real quick for something as simple as their main party...or am I just a minority here like always? :x ▫▪Ťïňắ 05:42, 25 December 2009 (UTC)
Alright. Just the parties. Maybe for the storage we can have pictures in the table instead of sprites. If we go too much into detail, the articles will become too big and will take a long time to load. --ケンジガール 04:20, 26 December 2009 (UTC)

HDifying?

Think it'd be a good idea if we had a parameter for whether the screenshot was HD or not, and have the resolution change depending on that, or do we use too many cropped images for that? TTEchidna 09:55, 3 February 2010 (UTC)

Well, I thought it'd be best for all images on a page to be the same width regardless of HD or not, because it looks nicer when stacked up. And anyway, there's an img_size parameter... But if you want, sure. --electAbuzzzz 10:00, 3 February 2010 (UTC)

Evolution

Should we add that? For instance, Volkner's Raichu: Pikachu. Flint's Infernape: Chimchar, Monferno. It'll be similar to that on Ash's page. ht14 04:41, 2 March 2010 (UTC)

It's all in the text, though... --electAbuzzzz 11:51, 2 March 2010 (UTC)
Consistency maybe? ht14 23:43, 2 March 2010 (UTC)

Multiple voice actors

Would it be possible to have a parameter for a second voice actor, in the event that a single template is used for two Pokemon? (Such as Ursula's Plusle and Minun.) 梅子 19:25, 22 April 2010 (UTC)

All done. —darklordtrom 04:41, 23 April 2010 (UTC)
Looks like it's broken now if an English voice actor is defined (see Lyra (anime) for an example). I tried taking a quick look but I can't figure out what's wrong... 梅子 18:31, 23 April 2010 (UTC)
Scratch that, it's broken regardless of whether an English voice actor is defined or not. 8( 梅子 18:40, 23 April 2010 (UTC)

Different Idea For Evolution

Maybe we could use the od sprites underneath/above where the voice actors are listed similar to what was done in AnimePokémonInfobox Template --Burgundy 08:09, 29 July 2010 (UTC)

Bumping this idea; Instead of OD sprites, however, we use non-animated MS sprites. The evolution titles can go under debut. The circles that the MS Sprites go in could be taken from Template:ReservePoké. - Chosen of Mana 23:17, 9 July 2011 (UTC)

Poké Balls

How about adding an option to add Poké Ball sprites, like with the Anime Pokémon Infobox. Though there arent many COTD Pokemon kept in other types of Poké Balls, it could at least be used on the pages for the Kimono Girls and Brendan. XVuvuzela2010X 10:33, 9 June 2012 (UTC)

Second epnum and epname parameter

I was thinking of having a second epnum and epname parameter as there are some Pokémon who were borrowed happened in different episodes than their actual debut episode. An example was Mick since he borrowed Ash's Pikachu. Mick debuted in Battling the Bully! while Pikachu made his debut in the very first episode. So, something like this:

|epnum=EP001 |epname=Pokémon - I Choose You!
|epnum2=BW065 |epname2=Battling the Bully!

Protect

Can I ask for this template to be protected, as it is a high-traffic template? Thanks. — Reshi643 17:18, 29 July 2013 (UTC)

Mega Parameter

With Red (Origins) in the mainspace and Blaziken Mask in the future, I think a Mega Pokémon parameter should be added to the name header. The following code would be added to the header, between the {{{pkmn}}} and {{{gender}}} parameters.

{{#switch: {{{mega|}}}|yes=↔ Mega {{{pkmn|}}}|x|X=↔ Mega {{{pkmn|}}} X|y|Y=↔ Mega {{{pkmn|}}} Y}}

- Chosen of Mana 20:34, 23 November 2013 (UTC)

Using this template for locations

Should this template be used in locations (such as the Gyms and Battle Frontier) as well? I feel it's redundant since they're found in the Trainer articles already; we're essentially having two copies of the same information in two articles. Or are we sticking to the InactivePoké template? The latter makes a lot more sense. ht14 17:07, 23 June 2015 (UTC)

Reference

Could anyone add possibility of adding reference number to the gender symbol in this template? Or maybe "tt" template would be better, like this: --Rocket Grunt 08:46, 11 May 2021 (UTC)

width

Why is there "width" property if it is always overriden by value "100% !important"? It was added by a random user and now it protected.--Rocket Grunt 19:53, 19 July 2021 (UTC)
