Deletion
This template links to player character with the display text "player". However, most of the time that "player" is used in a sentence, it is referring to the actual human pressing the buttons, not their in-game avatar. In the rare cases that it is appropriate to link to player character with the display text "player", I think we should just do it manually (i.e. [[Player character|player]]). This template just encourages users to use it incorrectly and link almost any instance of "player" in an article's text. --SnorlaxMonster 10:59, 25 July 2019 (UTC)
