You are a wonderful human being. Thank you. Now, you're certain you'd like for it to be one big table, yeah? Don't split it by Generation? —hexagonTHEORY 07:17, 13 November 2010 (UTC)

If anything, split by egg group. The problem is, egg groups don't have an order like types (e.g. Rhyhorn is Ground/Rock, while Geodude is Rock/Ground), so it might not sort that well if you want to find individual Pokémon in the egg group. Of course, that's what the individual pages are for. So I think that one big table would be good, sorting by egg groups (index number of the egg group, which should be the order of the page). However, please do not start adding it yet, the template may change to include/exclude Japanese names. --SnorlaxMonster 07:28, 13 November 2010 (UTC)
I've talked to a few other admins, and we've decided we probably don't need the Japanese names, so we'll use this template as it is. Do we have the egg groups' index number anywhere? If not. . . maybe by alphabetical order? That's what the sortable tables order by anyway. Werdnae (talk) 07:35, 13 November 2010 (UTC)
Egg groups#Egg groups, which is the order the page is currently in anyway, so that would be good. And if we really want to fix the sortable tables to sort properly, we could always do something like anime move errors within the template by adding a switch. --SnorlaxMonster 07:41, 13 November 2010 (UTC)
So... at the moment, just drop the list in there? —hexagonTHEORY 07:46, 13 November 2010 (UTC)
The order they are added in won't affect the sorting. There isn't really any need to fiddle with the way it sorts. It's not like we set it to order the types by index number when they are in a sortable table. Probably the most efficient way of doing it is to add them to the table using the following order system: First order by First Egg group index number, then by Second Egg Group index number, then by National Pokédex number. Thoughts? Werdnae (talk) 07:52, 13 November 2010 (UTC)
Yeah, that's exactly the order I was thinking. And as a note to whoever does implement this (but not yet), make sure to use {{inuse}}. --SnorlaxMonster 08:00, 13 November 2010 (UTC)
Erm, doesn't {{inuse}} imply that the page is being actively edited? You assumed I'd be demented enough to sit there and manually edit that table? How laughable. No, I've already generated all the code required; I'm now sorting it according to Werdnae's suggestion and then I'll simply be waiting for the green light. —hexagonTHEORY 08:05, 13 November 2010 (UTC)
You can go ahead and add it if you like. Werdnae (talk) 09:00, 13 November 2010 (UTC)
