Team Magma is evil in both Pokémon Emerald and Ruby. Their goal is to capture and control Groudon with the assistance of the Blue Orb. This is to fulfill their dream of expanding the world's landmass. In Pokémon Sapphire, they assist the player in stopping Team Aqua.
