Template:Episodelistbody

This template creates a table row, which represents an animated episode, usually part of a series.

This is to be used alongside Template:Episodelistheader, Template:Episodelistfooter, and in some cases Template:Episodelistfooterspecial.

Template fields

• field 1 (epicode) - The epicode of the episode. If there is no epicode, certain other values may be valid:
  • Skipped - The episode was skipped in Japan. Displays as an asterisk with the tooltip "Skipped in Japan".
  • None - The episode was aired as a special, thus it has no epicode. Displays as an asterisk with the tooltip "No episode code. Aired as a special.".
• field 2 (English title) - The English title of the episode. If there is no title, certain other values may be valid:
  • None or none - The episode never aired in English. Displays as "No English title".
• field 3 (Japanese title) - The Japanese title of the episode.
• field 4 (translated Japanese title) - A translation of the Japanese title.
• field 5 (English air date) - The English air date of the episode (format: January 1, 2005). If there is no date, certain other values may be valid:
  • Unannounced - Displays as "No airdate has been announced".
  • Unaired, Postponed, or None - Displays as "Unaired".
• field 6 (Japanese air date) - The Japanese air date of the episode (format: January 1, 2005). If there is no date, certain other values may be valid:
  • Unannounced - Displays as "No airdate has been announced". The "Time between" calculation is also cancelled, and displays as "Never aired".
  • Unaired, Postponed, or None - Displays as "Unaired". The "Time between" calculation is also cancelled, and displays as "Never aired".
• field 7 (thumbnail file name) (optional) - A custom file name for the thumbnail image. Normally, the image file name will default to (epicode).png.
• size (optional) - A custom size for the thumbnail image. Just the number, do not include "px". Defaults to "x108" for consistent height.

"Time between" calculation

The last column in the display table, "Time between", calculates the amount of days between the Japanese and English air dates.

Case 1 - days until/since Japanese airing (Japanese air date, but no English air date):

• This case is triggered if field 5 (English air date) equals Unannounced, Unaired, Postponed, or None.

Case 2 - airing today in Japan (Japanese air date, but no English air date):

• This case if triggered if field 5 (English air date) equals Unannounced, Unaired, Postponed, or None, and field 6 (Japanese air date) is today.

Case 3 - days between Japanese and English airings (both dates given):

• This case is triggered if both field 5 (English air date) and field 6 (Japanese air date) have date values.
