This infobox template is used on the pages of specific Pokémon characters from the anime, movies, manga or other media.

How to use

Infoboxes should be used at the beginning of the page, before any introductory text.

Parameters

All parameters are case sensitive.

Parameter	Allowed values	Notes
trainername	String	The name of the Trainer in English.
pokemonname	String	The name of the Pokémon in English.
nickname	String	Optional. The nickname the Pokémon is commonly refered to by in English. Overrides trainername and pokemonname (although pokemonname still required).
jtrainername	String	The name of the Trainer in Japanese.
jpokemonname	String	The name of the Pokémon in Japanese.
jnickname	String	Optional. The nickname the Pokémon is commonly refered to by in Japanese. Overrides jtrainername and jpokemonname.
tmtrainername	String	Translation of the Trainer's name in Japanese. Use the trademarked version if available.
tmpokemonname	String	Translation of the Pokémon's name in Japanese. Use the trademarked version if available.
tmnickname	String	Optional. Translation of the Pokémon's nickname in Japanese. Use the trademarked version if available. Overrides tmtrainername and tmpokemonname.
ball	Poké • Great • Ultra • Master • Safari • Fast • Level • Lure • Heavy • Love • Friend • Moon • Sport • Luxury • Premier • Net • Dive • Nest • Repeat • Timer • Heal • Dusk • Cherish • Quick • Park • Dream • Beast • Poké Hisui • Unknown • None	The type of Poké Ball the Pokémon resides in. Defaults to Poké.
shiny	yes	Optional. Set to yes if the Pokémon is shiny.
image	Image	Image of the Pokémon. Must be a full file link with size, e.g. [[File:Ash Pikachu.png|250px]]. Don't include |thumb|.
caption	String	A caption for the image.
type1	Normal • Fire • Fighting • Water • Flying • Grass • Poison • Electric • Ground • Psychic • Rock • Ice • Bug • Dragon • Ghost • Dark • Steel • Fairy • Unknown	The Pokémon's type. Use the first listed in the Pokédex, where applicable. Defaults to Unknown.
type2	Normal • Fire • Fighting • Water • Flying • Grass • Poison • Electric • Ground • Psychic • Rock • Ice • Bug • Dragon • Ghost • Dark • Steel • Fairy • Unknown	Optional. The Pokémon's second type.
Egg
egg	egg • manaphyegg	Optional. Set to egg if the Pokémon is first encountered as an Egg. Set to manaphyegg when used on Manaphy (M09).
eggep	Epicode	The epicode of the episode / movie / chapter etc that the Egg first appears in.
eggname	String	The name of the episode / movie / chapter etc that the Egg first appears in.
eggnametiming	String	A timing modifier for the epicode, such as "Prior to".
eggmet	String	The location in which the Egg was found.
Details
epnum	Epicode	The epicode of the episode / movie / chapter etc the Pokémon debuts in (or the Egg hatches, if egg is set to egg or manaphyegg).
epname	String	The name of the episode / movie / chapter etc the Pokémon debuts in (or the Egg hatches, if egg is set to egg or manaphyegg).
epnametiming	String	A timing modifier for the epicode, such as "Prior to".
caught	yes • no	Set to yes if the Pokémon is caught. Defaults to yes.
catchepnum	Epicode	Optional. The epicode of the episode / movie / chapter etc the Pokémon was caught in. Use only if the debut and the catch episode / movie / chapter etc are different.
catchepname	String	Optional. The name of the episode / movie / chapter etc the Pokémon was caught in. Use only if the debut and the catch episode / movie / chapter etc are different.
catchepnametiming	String	A timing modifier for the epicode, such as "Prior to".
location	String	The location in which the Pokémon was caught (or the Egg hatched, if egg is set to egg or manaphyegg). Defaults to Unknown.
gender	String	The gender of the Pokémon. Defaults to Unknown.
ability	String	The Ability of the Pokémon. Defaults to Unknown.
tera	String	Optional. The Pokémon's Tera type.
nature	String	Optional. The Nature of the Pokémon.
traded	yes	Optional. Set to yes if the Pokémon was traded.
tradeep	Epicode	The epicode of the episode / movie / chapter etc the trade occured in.
tradename	String	The name of the episode / movie / chapter etc the trade occured in.
tradenametiming	String	A timing modifier for the epicode, such as "Prior to".
oldtrainer	String	The name of the original trainer.
newtrainer	String	The name of the new trainer.
tradedfor	String	The other Pokémon in the trade.
released	yes	Optional. Set to yes if the Pokémon was released.
releaseep	Epicode	The epicode of the episode / movie / chapter etc the Pokémon was released in.
releasename	String	The name of the episode / movie / chapter etc the Pokémon was released in.
releasenametiming	String	A timing modifier for the epicode, such as "Prior to".
current	String	The current location of the Pokémon. Defaults to Unknown.
media	anime • special • manga	The type of media that the Pokémon appears in. Defaults to anime.
Evolution
evolution	0 • 1 • 2	The number of evolutions of this Pokémon. If the Pokémon has not evolved, set to 0.
firststagename	String	Optional. The name of the pre-evolution Pokémon.
prevonum	National Pokédex number	The National Pokédex number of the pre-evolution Pokémon. Append with a code to select a specific form (e.g. for an Alolan form, add A. Find more »).
prevonumicon	Image	Optional. Overrides prevonum with another image. Used only for Pokémon without HOME artwork, such as Rotom Pokédex.
firstevoep	Epicode	Optional. The epicode of the episode / movie / chapter etc of the Pokémon's first evolution.
firstevoname	String	Optional. The name of the episode / movie / chapter etc of the Pokémon's first evolution.
firstevonametiming	String	A timing modifier for the epicode, such as "Prior to".
secondstagename	String	Optional. The name of the Pokémon's first evolution.

numeps1	Number • less than 1	Optional. The number of episodes / movies / chapters etc before the Pokémon's first evolution. Defaults to 0.
numeps2	Number • less than 1	Optional. The number of episodes / movies / chapters etc before the Pokémon's second evolution. Defaults to 0.
noevo	cap • incap	Sets whether a Pokémon that has not evolved is capabale (cap) or incapable (incap) of doing so. Only use if evolution is set to 0. Defaults to cap.
Voice Actors
Only required if media is set to anime.
java1	String	If evolution is set to 0: The name of the Japanese voice actor of the unevolved Pokémon. If evolution is set to 1: The name of the Japanese voice actor of the Pokémon after its first evolution. If evolution is set to 2: The name of the Japanese voice actor of the Pokémon after its second evolution.
enva1	String	Optional. Defaults to contents of java1. If evolution is set to 0: The name of the English voice actor of the unevolved Pokémon. If evolution is set to 1: The name of the English voice actor of the Pokémon after its first evolution. If evolution is set to 2: The name of the English voice actor of the Pokémon after its second evolution.
java2	String	Optional. If evolution is set to 1: The name of the Japanese voice actor of the unevolved Pokémon. If evolution is set to 2: The name of the Japanese voice actor of the Pokémon after its first evolution.
enva2	String	Optional. Defaults to contents of java2. If evolution is set to 1: The name of the English voice actor of the unevolved Pokémon. If evolution is set to 2: The name of the English voice actor of the Pokémon after its first evolution.
java3	String	Optional. If evolution is set to 2: The name of the Japanese voice actor of the unevolved Pokémon.
enva3	String	Optional. Defaults to contents of java3. If evolution is set to 2: The name of the English voice actor of the unevolved Pokémon.
