Blastoise and Ivysaur

Isn't it time their Pokemon got their own pages? They have showed up and done more than enough for it.--Pikablu (talk) 13:17, 1 October 2015 (UTC)

  • THE TRAINERS deserve their own pages. I don't undestand why Trevor, Shauna and Tierno don't have pages for anime conterparts, like Barry, Bianca and Cheren.--Hikaru Wazana (talk) 13:29, 1 October 2015 (UTC)
I think both Trainer and Pokemon deserve their own page. They have shown up and done more than enough to get it.--Rahl (talk) 13:41, 1 October 2015 (UTC)
I have made pages for Tierno, Shauna and Trevor. but, who have the power for made aprovall for them??Hikaru Wazana (talk) 13:45, 1 October 2015 (UTC)
Ask an administrator other than force fire. I think anyone else but him would approve considering it all.--Pikablu (talk) 13:51, 1 October 2015 (UTC)
Hi Pikablu! How are ya? But in all seriousness, Shauna and Trevor (particularly Shauna) could have their own articles. Though not Tierno, hasn't made much appearances. And apart from Shauna, I feel both Trevor and Tierno don't really do much in terms of outside of just battling. As for Ivysaur and Blastoise, just because they "showed up" doesn't mean they are instantly notable. Read the notability requirements. I feel all Blastoise has done is battle, which if it is all it does when it appears, then it's not notable (I don't particularly pay attention to characters like Tierno since they barely appear at all).--ForceFire 14:04, 1 October 2015 (UTC)
Well it says that rival's main Pokemon may have their own pages. All of them have shown up in at least 5 episodes and participated in various events throughout them.--Rahl (talk) 14:09, 1 October 2015 (UTC)
If a rival's signature Pokémon does nothing more than battle or has no major impact on the plot, then it is not notable for an article and instead should have a section on its Trainer's page. Ivysaur maaaaaaybe, but Blastoise? All it's done is battling, nothing more.--ForceFire 14:13, 1 October 2015 (UTC)
Yea this is why I said not to ask you...Blastoise did a lot outside of battle in XY065 and it participated in the Pokemon Summer Camp, which is not all battling. It has done more then what you claim.--Pikablu (talk) 14:17, 1 October 2015 (UTC)
Force Fire, look...

I saw that Hikaru Wazana, but I'm here to give you a quicker response (and my opninion on the matter). I said that Shauna and Trevor could get articles, but maybe not Tierno. And Pikablu, that's one episode, all other episodes it just battles- including the summer camp episode. --ForceFire 14:27, 1 October 2015 (UTC)
Force Fire, that is still a lot of appearances and even an example of the problem you stated. Off of the notability requirements, it should have a page for being the rivals main Pokemon, and it has done plenty to be able to have the page. I can think of a few examples of Pokemon that have done less and have a page.--Rahl (talk) 14:32, 1 October 2015 (UTC)
If you're going to say Ash's Raticate, please read its talk page where I give three plot points it contributed (indirectly). Blastoise, apart from battling, hasn't really done much. Escaping and battling Team Rocket still counts as battling.--ForceFire 14:37, 1 October 2015 (UTC)
It obviously meets the requirements, why do you have to make this so difficult?Pikablu (talk) 14:39, 1 October 2015 (UTC)
How? All I remember it doing is battling and maybe dance... which doesn't really amount to anything.--ForceFire 14:43, 1 October 2015 (UTC)
I aggre with Force Fire, Tierno's Blastoise has a user page and have little information, unfortunately he don't have much so far. And Force Fire, Tierno is so far the main rival of Ash, did you not confused Trevor with Tierno??Trevor is the boy from episode of Moltres, Tierno is the chubby rival of Ash. He have a good impact in Ash's journey. Trevor I think that also can not have enough information for a page yet. However, i began a because of his solo appearance. --Hikaru Wazana (talk) 14:39, 1 October 2015 (UTC)
No, I'm not confusing the two. However, if anything, the information on your Tierno page is much more than what the Tierno page has (which is like... four lines, and is probably why I'm not too sold on him having a page). Trevor and Tierno are on the fence for me on getting pages, but Shauna is a definite yes for me.--ForceFire 14:49, 1 October 2015 (UTC)
I understand, what is necessary to send the page of Shauna for mainspace ?Thanks for answering me. --Hikaru Wazana (talk) 14:55, 1 October 2015 (UTC)
For other admins to come in and give their opinions on it as well. I'll bring it up with the other staff members just to speed things up a little.--ForceFire 14:57, 1 October 2015 (UTC)
Why does Tierno not deserve one? He's appeared more than Trevor and he's appeared in the same amount of episodes as Shauna. Tierno is a rival for Ash, just like Shauna is one for Serena. So I fail to see how Shauna and Tierno at the very least don't deserve their own page. Playerking95 (talk) 17:51, 1 October 2015 (UTC)
Yeah especially with Trevor being considered over Tierno. I mean what the heck has Trevor done deserve his own article that Tierno hasn't done more. If the decision is because Trevor's user page article has more information than Tierno's user page article, well then someone clearly is not keeping up to date the Tierno information, since in no way has Trevor done MORE than Tierno. And I agree Shauna is in the same boat as Tierno and her only advantage is we've seen a little of her Pokemon Showcase while neither Tierno nor Trevor were seen battling gym leaders. --Dman dustin (talk) 16:17, 2 October 2015 (UTC)

Moves used in fantasy

We need to reach a consensus on the moves Flareon, Jolteon and Vaporeon used in Shauna's fantasy. I present the argument that they were Fire Spin, Thunder and the illegal Aqua Jet. Flareon's stream of fire was swirling round like Firse Spin is usually depicted, Jolteon sent electricity into the air and it all dropped down at once, it coming down from above like that was very much like Manetric earlier in the series. Vaporeon's Aqua Jet, I know it's an error but Fletchling using Feather Dance and Slurpuff using Electro Ball stop it seeming unlikely they'd make that mistake. Aqua Jet just looks like a move Vaporeon could use, which is the reason for most anime move errors. It was clearly Aqua Jets animation. There isn't any of her move it could have been. Looks like=/=it is. We don't assume moves unless it stated. And since you mentioned Aqua Jet being an illegal move for Vaporeon, the other two could be illegal moves as well. Sure that's speculation as well, but that's the thing, we don't know and we'll most likely never will but we can't just assume it.--ForceFire 06:26, 25 October 2015 (UTC)

Episode title

Noticing the trivia regarding the title, I'm curious where the currently listed title "Tag Team Battle Inspiration" came from. Usually pokemon.com is taken as the actual title, with iTunes and Amazon sometimes used as well. I have checked at both pokemon.com and Amazon Instant Video list this episode as "Tag Team Inspiration". Should the title be changed to match these official sources? ChE clarinetist (talk) 04:52, 4 December 2015 (UTC)

It comes from the episode itself. This is what the episode is called on the title card. --HoennMaster 05:52, 4 December 2015 (UTC)

Bot

There is a problem with the bot, changes the italian interwiki from "XY089" to "XY090" and the page on PCW is called "XY089". How to fix it?--Naty (talk) 19:25, 21 January 2017 (UTC)

I have changed the interwiki links on all the other wikis as they also linked wrong, please be sure to contact the staff if it lingers. --Raltseye prata med mej 21:21, 21 January 2017 (UTC)

Ok, thanks --Naty (talk) 00:02, 22 January 2017 (UTC)
