The part on here about 'buffet' refering to how it strikes its forehead...I don't think that's true. The image I get is one of those blow-up punching bags with sand in the bottom, and no matter how hard you hit it, it just pops back up. {{unsigned|Blackjack Gabbiani}}

The person who wrote about the blow-up punching bag is correct. I don't know if there is a separate name for it (different than simply "punching bag"), though, so I just linked to the Wikipedia article on "punching bag." I can see no resemblance at all between them other than the fact that they're both blue and somewhat blob-like.  And they have two eyes. == The Tail ==

Nothing seems to really mention a common theory of Wobbuffet - that the actual body itself is a fake (since it's a blow-up doll) and Wobbuffet itself is actually just the tail, hence why Wobbuffet hangs around in dark places to disguise its tail and why it uses Destiny Bond when the tail is attacked. Prince Rupert's Drops?

Tadpole shaped, the body can take any kind of blow but one touch of the tail and the thing shatters? Kind of like the Pokedex entries for Wobbuffet suggest? Maybe explains why the body takes so much but the tail can't? I think Wobbuffet is a combination of things, like other Pokemon and that the punching bag stuff is still relevant. What do you think

So I didn't want to randomly edit this in the main page incase it was omitted for some reason but the game where Wobbuffet says 'that's right' is probably the same as it saying its name, only directly translated into English instead of using the English name. Wobbuffet's original Japanese name is Sounansu, right? (Or in katakana syllables, so-nansu). Sou nan'su is a slangy way of contracting the Japanese phrase 'sou nan desu' which means 'that's right'. == Wobbuffet being used as a troll Pokemon ==

I don't know where (if anywhere) this belongs on this page, but there is a subculture of Pokemon fans who refer to themselves as "Wobbuffet Trolls" and they like to troll people (mostly on Pokemon Showdown) by battling people with six Wobbuffets in random battles.

The general community calls these people "Wobbuffet Troll(s)" (eponymous to their self given term) and they are decently established in certain parts of the Pokemon community, particularly on the Dragon Heaven server in Pokemon showdown where several of these trolls log on per day.
