I'd think Rayquaza gets the strongest Waterfall, because of the 150 Attack (higher than 125, for sure), but that's just me. :P <span style="color:#E75480;">Tina</span><span style="color:#E75480;">The</span><span style="color:#E75480;">Kirlia</span> ♥ 18:07, 28 September 2007 (UTC)

: Waterfall exists in both generations, so it doesn't matter if a Pokémon has Waterfall in Gen II and you want to trade it back to Gen I. The same is true of Bite, even though Bite became Dark type in Gen II. Yenreb 19:58, 28 April 2009 (UTC)

You do not need it to go back down a waterfall. Atomic Boom22

No Kingler??
Move appearance in other generations section
How does a Horsea learn waterfall but a kingler can't? How does Nintendo make these arbitrary decisions? Poor kingler... he was my HM horse.

I think we should remove the bad image tag from that section. Sure, the Generation I animation is blurry, but so are a lot of others – yet this is the first time I have seen the tag being used for this purpose. Since no one else saw an issue with the other move pages afflicted by blurry Generation I animations, why this?

I'll remove it if others agree, or otherwise add that tag to *all* other Generation I move pages with blurry images. Thoughts? <span class="sc"><span style="color:#968428;">Hax</span><span style="color:#4C4646;">or</span><span style="color:#800517;">us</span></span> 13:41, 3 April 2012 (UTC)

Trivia worthy?
I was thinking of putting something about how a few descriptions say something about Waterfall being fast, but it doesn't have an increased priority. Would that be Trivia worthy? Zarthga (talk) 08:26, 12 June 2012 (UTC)

those moves aren't variations
With the exception of dark pulse none of those moves that are listed as variations are actually variations. dark pulse's secondary effect has a 20% chance while scald, lava plume etc have a 30% chance.0danmaster0 (talk) 20:23, 6 June 2013 (UTC)

Doesn't Alomomola get Waterfall too?
I was going over a list of which Water Pokemon didn't learn Waterfall, and as I went down the 'Dex comparing Pokemon, I noticed that Alomomola wasn't on the page for Waterfall. But I'm pretty sure it can learn the move. Just wanna check with someone else to verify before just adding it in. Coronation
:Looks like there was an oversight. Added Alomomola. --Super goku (talk) 01:17, 11 December 2013 (UTC)

Special in Generation III
Playing generation three, I noticed that an opponent using Light Screen (Doubles *Special Defence*) appeared to half the damage by waterfall. I have also noticed that my Gyarados which has a much higher Attack than Special Attack seems to do more damage with a similarly powered move to waterfall while he gets STAB from waterfall, yet waterfall is doing less damage in most cases. I have added this to the main page accordingly. Pokepro97 (talk) 15:01, 14 April 2014 (UTC).
:Waterfall was special in Gen 3 and prior, as were all Water-type moves, since whether a move was physical or special was determined by type until Gen 4. Which moves were changed are already listed here. ::The only move which is notable on this matter is Bite, being physical type in G1, special type in G2 and G3, and reclassified as physical move in G4. Eridanus (talk) 16:05, 14 April 2014 (UTC)
:::Okay, the fact I was unaware of this after a lot of time on this wiki shows it isn't very clearly mentioned, I'm sure its not under the article on Type, which it should be. Correct me if I'm wrong, Pokepro97 (talk) 01:29, 15 April 2014 (UTC). Edit: Nevermind, it appears to be there. ::::From the Type page: All games before Generation IV also made a distinction between physical and special moves based on their type; as of Generation IV, this is dependent on the move itself. --<span style="color:#009900">It's</span> <span style="color:#CC66FF">Funktastic~!</span><small><span style="color:#99CCFF">話してください</span></small> 02:59, 15 April 2014 (UTC)

Does anyone know how to add a third image to a move infobox? I uploaded an image for overworld Waterfall in Generation VI but I don't know how to add a third image to the infobox.
