Real World Influence
Aside from those already listed, this thing seems to have a striking resemblance to Haikouichthys -- the possible early ancestor of all vertebrates. Its the waving line. Haikouichthys had a probably visible spine-like column. Tynamo seems to have a waving line in the exact same area. PowerPlantRaichu 23:56, 12 November 2011 (UTC)

Tynamo cannot learn Charge Beam by TM?
THat's what the article says. What if you used the Move Deleter for it to forget CHarge Beam? If you did that, could you use the TM on it? Pikachu Bros. (talk) 19:48, 23 July 2013 (UTC)

Horrible Design For Gen VI Minigames
I don't know if anyone else has noticed, but Tynamo's design for both Pokemon Amie and Super Training is just DREADFUL! Petting him/her in Pokemon Amie is limited to two super tiny regions on his/her face which are too small to avoid stroking both at once, making to take twice as long, and the rest of his/her body will shock your "hand" if you so much as brush it, making your petting start over. In adition, his/her feeding point is not as the mouth, but to the right of it and fixed to a pinpoint location so small that it's extremely hard to find. Also, in the Head It minigame he/she does a dart around and fly up happy animation every ten balls in a row, making it hard to not missjudge the timing. Furthermore, in Super Training he/she has to special ball throw type, and charge shots take at least five second... --Ulithium Dragon (talk) 20:23, 11 December 2014 (UTC)

Tynamo's trivia / origin entries could be updated with an excerpt from the following Ken Sugimori quote from the May 2011 issue of Nintendo Dream Magazine (referring to the entire Eelektrik family):
“This one was designed by Mr Ohmura — he had an idea that making an eel into a monster would look really powerful, and that idea became a Pokemon. Ohmura said that he once caught a humongous eel in a nearby river and that it was disgusting, but that experience is what inspired his idea for this evolutionary line. The eel he caught actually inspired Eelektrik, who best represents that feeling of strong but disgusting. Then Tynamo was conceived of because we wanted the evolutionary line to reflect how an actual eel physically matures in the real world.”
