I realize these guys don't have an english name yet, but everywhere I see so far just uses their japanese name. And besides, I thought since the Go-getters have their own article, these guys should as well.

The problem I'm having is that the infobox is really screwy. It always wants to do that "Trainer's Pokemon" thing with the posessive apostrophe and all, but these guys don't use that. If someone could fix that, I'd appreciate it. ~Toastypk - Loom. 16:24, 27 July 2008 (UTC)

This episode was shown in the UK on Sunday morning. They got a dub name: Team Poképals. As such, this should probably be updated as such. I have no idea how to change page titles, though. -- Nebula 22:19, 29 July 2008 (UTC)

Is it Team Poképals or Team PokéPals? - unsigned comment from Uberearthy (talkcontribs) 22:05, 16 February 2009

It's Team Poképals, or at least that's how it's capitalized for the default suggestion in the games. So it's most likely the same throughout the franchise. ~ overgrownsol 22:07, 16 February 2009 (UTC)

Voice Actors

Bella Hudson - Piplup Bill Rogers - Chimchar (has Drew's voice) Rachael Lillis - Sunflora (has Blissey's voice) Livinlarge18 01:07, 8 September 2008 (UTC)

According to the credits Sean Schemmel and Michele Knotz weren't in this one. Livinlarge18 11:03, 9 September 2008 (UTC)
I think Sunflora was voiced by Emily Jenness in the Explorers of the Sky special, it sounded like a higher pitch of Dawn's voice. Thingamajig257 02:13 11 October 2009

Having genders as unknown is absolutely rediculous

It is obvious what they are, this is pathetic. Same with team Go-getters. (GT4GTR 02:01, 4 January 2009 (UTC))

Or is it? What if the "seemingly-obvious" female Pokémon (haven't watched PMD2 anime special yet) is actually a male with a high voice? Or if the Pokémon with male characteristics is actually a female with a low voice? You never actually know, so you should remember things are not always what they seem. - s.Combusken 02:09, 4 January 2009 (UTC)

Turtwig ?

Should be added that Turtwig is the only Sinnoh Starter to not be on Team Pokepals ? Pokemon94 22:55, 11 March 2009 (UTC)

I guess that's notable enough. Add away. --Theryguy512 22:59, 11 March 2009 (UTC)

Why is there only Piplup but no Chimchar?

On the right side of the page, in the box, there is a Piplup sprite, but why isn't there a Chimchar sprite?

Flame Wheel

When I was watching the mystery dungeon special, I could not find Chimchar using Flame Wheel even though it said on the template that it used it. However, I did see Chimchar tackle Dusknoir but whether or not it was using the move is unknown as it was able to hit Dusknoir. Did Chimchar actually use Flame Wheel? PattyMan 21:39, 28 April 2012 (UTC)

Looks like Chimchar didn't use it as it just got removed. PattyMan 23:15, 28 April 2012 (UTC)

Manga version considered separate?

Should the manga version of Team Poképals really be listed here instead of on their own page? Their team members are different, and Chimchar's role in the manga has been switched from that of the partner to that of the amnesiac hero. While it could be argued that the two versions of the team serve roughly the same purpose, that could also be said of Team Blaze, but that team is considered a separate entity. It seems to me like the only thing linking the two teams is their shared name. Boblers (talk) 21:48, 22 May 2017 (UTC)
