I do wonder. Should we have the page at Gizamimi Pichu, since that's the "official" name used in the calendars and such? TTEchidna 20:51, 8 March 2009 (UTC)

Probably. Is it ever 'officially' called Notched-ear Pichu??? --Theryguy512 21:02, 8 March 2009 (UTC)

---This is true but I think it would make the page impossible to find. Most people probably know it as Notched-Ear Pichu as opposed to Gizamimi Pichu. --The Great Butler 01:21, 9 March 2009 (UTC)

That's why redirects were created. (I knew they would come to good use sometime!!!) --Theryguy512 01:56, 9 March 2009 (UTC)
True. Perhaps this page should say "Notched-Ear Pichu, known in official materials as Gizamimi Pichu..."? --The Great Butler 00:33, 10 March 2009 (UTC)

Voice actor

It needs to be Shōko Nakagawa with the accent mark. "Shoko Nakagawa" links to a nonexistant page. --The Great Butler 01:21, 9 March 2009 (UTC)

Not any more it doesn't. But still a fix would be nice oh kind admins. — THE TROM — 01:24, 9 March 2009 (UTC)

Ability

When was the ability show/confirmed? The Dark Fiddler - Is teh Pedia laggin 4 u 2? 00:45, 10 March 2009 (UTC)

I dunno either. But I guess it's from the Japanese movie site. I can't ready Japanese. Ҝəυzø8 11:59, 10 March 2009 (UTC)
Can we get somebody who CAN read Japanese check the site? The Dark Fiddler - Is teh Pedia laggin 4 u 2? 02:12, 11 March 2009 (UTC)
Does Pichu have any other ability I'm not aware of. I find it odd that when an anime Pokemon only has one ability, its not confirmed, I realize that a Pokemon can have 2 abilities, but I don't buy that since it goes along the gender differences. A certain Pokemon had Ability A prior to Generation X. And there's no conflicting information (albeit speculative) that a Pokemon in the anime can't have both abilities, like in Pokemon Mystery Dungeon. --Dman dustin 02:23, 11 March 2009 (UTC)
No, it doesn't have another ability in the games, but why can't the anime give it a different one? A new anime-exclusive one? Why can't the anime say only certain Pokémon have an ability, and others don't? The Dark Fiddler - Is teh Pedia laggin 4 u 2? 11:01, 11 March 2009 (UTC)
That's the reason why we don't add Blaze as Ash's Charizard's ability, despite being the only ability Fire starters can have. It has yet to be shown or confirmed by somebody. Ҝəυzø8 11:37, 11 March 2009 (UTC)
Exactly; that's why I think we should

a) Confirm Pichu's ability with a source b) Remove it. - unsigned comment from The Dark Fiddler (talkcontribs) 11:40, 11 March 2009 (UTC)

Nobody? The Dark Fiddler - You enter a poorly lit room... 11:30, 18 March 2009 (UTC)

Shiny

It is confirmed that little Notchie is shiny, though. *Leads all to Bulbanews*--Mew a.k.a. Prmatt11 at 23:36, 12 March 2009 (UTC)
No, it's not Shiny. The Event Pichu is shiny. -Sketch 23:39, 12 March 2009 (UTC)
Of which is directly based off of Notchie.--Mew a.k.a. Prmatt11 at 23:42, 12 March 2009 (UTC)
Just because the event Pichu is shiny doesn't mean that the Pichu itself is. ~ overgrownsol 23:46, 12 March 2009 (UTC)
No the only reason why the event Pichu is shiny is because there's no ear-notched Pichu programmed into the game. It being shiny was the only thing they could've done to make it stand out compared to other Pichu's. Notched Ear Pichu however is still normal. --Dman dustin 23:48, 12 March 2009 (UTC)
It looks like that in the preview of the newer ending, there's a Pikachu-colored Pichu appearing alongside Notch-eared Pichu. So they are infact separete entities PDL 13:10, 26 March 2009 (UTC)

Left vs. Right

In the article, it says it's her right ear that is notched, but that is her left ear. - unsigned comment from Wikifixer (talkcontribs)

Someone epic failed. TTEchidna 05:24, 16 March 2009 (UTC)

Pichu in Ending

Too lazy to make a new section, but apparently, she is the fixation of the fourth ending. More info's on Bulbanews. Aura-Knight

It was hard to type 4 equal signs? O.o Anyways, we know this, but other than mentioning it, there isn't anything we can do, it's just speculation that Notched-ear will become a part of the main cast until then. Myzou 11:24, 18 March 2009 (UTC)
Yes. And we need an admin to put that factoid in there, as the page is protected from vandals atm. Aura-Knight 15:01, 18 March 2009 (UTC)

Name

Instead of calling him Notched-ear Pichu, Just call him by his Japanese name: Gizamimi Pichu. It's Better then Notched-ear Pichu. ☆AlienX2008☆09:37, 27 March 2009 (UTC)

Same thing.--FF(editstalk) 09:44, 27 March 2009 (UTC)

But its better. ☆AlienX2008☆ AlienX2008 18:42, 27 March 2009 (UTC)

...do you have a better reason? A less colossally vague reason?—Loveはドコ? (talk contribs) 22:34, 27 March 2009 (UTC)
Also it's a girl. But I do wonder about calling it Gizamimi as well, since that's on official stuff... TTEchidna 22:37, 27 March 2009 (UTC)

Shiny Pichu?

I'm hearing everywhere about a picture of a shiny pichu, the notch-eared pichu, and pikachu. Where is this image? -- Landfish7 12:38, 29 March 2009 (UTC)

This is not something to be posted here. Go to your talk. --Prongs (TalkContributions) 15:47, 29 March 2009 (UTC)

Wild

It's obviously not a trainer's Pichu,It's obviously wild. If it were a trainer's pokemon they would already reveal him or her. AlienX2008 05:48, 3 April 2009 (UTC)

Also, the current location should be Michīna. AlienX2008 05:53, 3 April 2009 (UTC)

Not a Biggie, But . . .

Under the picture, the caption says Notched ear Pichu, but the rest of the article and the article title calls it the "Notched-ear Pichu". Note the missing hyphen. I mean, it's not like it's a big deal, but it's just something that's bugging me is all. >.> SL-samacontribs 21:30, 9 April 2009 (UTC)
