- Double battles
- Genderless Pokemon
- How much it reduces by against a foe with the same gender?

- Not sure how Double Battles should affect Rivalry any? It solely depends on the target(s). Genderless Pokémon take neutral damage, and it's reduced by 25% against Pokémon of the same sex. --Vixie 17:29, 10 August 2010 (UTC)
Trivia?
Should it be stated that all Pokémon (except the Axew Evolutionary line) that can have this ability have gender differences (counting Nidoran♀ and Nidoran♂ as gender counterparts, seeing how a Nidoran♀ can produce a Nidoran♂ egg).TurtleLover1999 (talk) 14:59, 27 April 2013 (UTC)

- I wouldn't see why not, it appears that used to be the name of the article until it got switched over to the English name. For some reason when someone added back in the Japanese they just did a direct translation of the kanji itself instead of keeping the old Japanese translation for whatever reason.
