50% or less?

I know Recover restores 50% of the max health of the user, but is there a way it will recover less than it? (without the obvious "more than half HP remaining") hfc2X 04:38, 2 February 2010 (UTC)

Nothing that I know of other than the obvious answer you're not looking for. There are move effects that will knock it down to zero percent (Heal Block), but nothing that reduces the healing amount, as far as I know. -- Jïörüjï Ðērākō.>.cнаt^ 17:18, 2 February 2010 (UTC)

Recover fails if the user is missing exactly 255 HP?

"Recover will fail if the difference between the user's current and maximum HP is 0, or if (user's maximum HP - user's current HP) is one less than a multiple of 256. If the user's current HP is greater than its maximum HP, Recover will set the user's current HP to equal its maximum HP." This is part of the "Generations I - III" section (and has nothing saying it was fixed in newer generations), but sounds to my ears like one of those sloppy programming bugs that were so prevalent in Gen I only. Is this really still the case? It says it was fixed in Stadium, so why wouldn't it be fixed in Gen II onward? Pumpkinking0192 (talk) 01:33, 12 August 2012 (UTC)
