:Yeah... "ROM hacks" (or just the shortened "hacks") is definitely the most common term. "Hacked ROMs" showing up pretty commonly too. If you look on any of the forums that the patches to the games are posted on (projectpokemon, pokecommunity, gbatemp, etc.), you will see, almost 100% of the time, the words "Rom Hack(s)," or as Gou said, sometimes just "hacks." "Hack games" however, is a very scarcely used term.
